Morning! :0)
Hope everyones ok.
yesterday, I tried something weird. I tired a freebie liposuction thing at the gym, and its this new thing called strawberry laser blah blah... i got measured before. and then they placed this belt thing round my belly for 10 mins and they measured me after and i had lost 1.7 cm around the middle bit of my tummy... the only catch is that you have to exercise vigorously after the treatment for 30 mins or more and sweat it out, as this laser thing works by dissolving fat cells and then the lymphatic system has to drain it out.. ANDDDDD, the price to carry on??? 1000 pounds for a 4-week treatment, with 2 every month.. it def works but if u dont exercise, u put it back on,.
as much as that was tempting, i thought better stick with the gym!

Hi!
I've been too ashamed to look at this thread for the last month or so. A couple of minor illnesses and several special occasions kind of meant that the whole of August was written off in terms of eating healthily
Now that it's the new academic year I'm starting again - fortunately I haven't done too much damage so at least I'm not right back where I started!
Hope everyone else is well and happy!
x
EDIT: Forgot to mention, H2B and I are starting salsa classes tonight - if that doesn't trim a little excess from my thighs nothing will. Except the gym. Which I hate.Marrying my lovely man on 1st September 2012

Thanks Rups! I've forgiven myself for falling off the wagon, partly cos it was so much fun!
H2B brought back lots of chocolate from a friend's stag do at the weekend, so what is left (erm, not much) stays there till Saturday. *determined face*
I know what you mean about the need for a holiday - I haven't had anything apart from a couple of short breaks for the last eighteen months, and won't get one for another year!Marrying my lovely man on 1st September 2012

Hi guys, can I join you? Wedding date is 12th May 2012. We only got engaged 12 August so not loads of time to drop a dress size (or 2!)
I am going for the "up your exercise, eat what you like (ish) diet and see how I go as I hate dieting and always end up bingeing and feeling guilty.
I do Zumba once a week, but going to double the number of classes, plus lots of just dance on the wii and have ordered a wii fit (free with some points from work!) Then thinking swimming once a week as well and hoping all this combined will help me to get in shape!
Currently I am a 14-16 but would like to be a 12 for the wedding.
Please help to motivate me as I have absolutely ZERO willpower even though I desperately want to lose weight!:mad:Staring point of debt £23,343:mad:

You have 35 weeks til your wedding = just 1lb weight loss a week would be 2 and a half stone loss!! How easy does that sound!!!. Okay you have that little thing called Xmas to handle but if you get a few extra lb losses in the bag you can afford to stay the same at least over Xmas.
I work on the principal that a stone loss is pretty much a whole dress size. I need to lose at least 1 dress size but ideally 2 and i have 46 Fridays to go til my wedding. . . . WE CAN DO IT!0 -

Thanks for that... you make it sound managable. never thought of equating a stone to a dress size...

Rups, that type of Lipo seems to come up again and again on Groupon, at huge discounts. So if it works might be worth a go. Does it hurt at all - during or after? And did it leave any marks?
It's quite targetted from what I understand, may be an option for reducing my slightly bulging over the dress back.0 -
really kmmr? i have never seen them on groupon.. hmm maybe i always think they will be expensive thats why...i would recommend it and there was no pain. i just felt warmth on my belly. i was impressed that it 'melted' some fat cells and i lost 1.7 inches but i know if idont exercise like they said, it will come back, so thats the catch i guess.it was just a belt placed on me, and nothing was sucked as such but they said it works through that laser thing to dissolve fat and doesnt go further than 13cm so vital organs arent harmed. i had to say no as they or course always recommend a course and they were dear,
did zumba and am dead. wonder how code is getting on wth her day coming so close? :0)Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!
