I've been trying to be better in my food choices, and keeping an online food journal - averaging 1400-1500 cals a day, and trying to do Zumba, Just Dance, and 'Flat Belly Fast - 10 min solutions' 3-4 times a week. I do run with OH now and then but I LOATHE it.
Have slipped up with a choc bar and a choc mousse in the last fortnight, as well as not taking the skin off roast chicken last night (but it was SO YUMMY) and having a skim latte now and then.
Motivation - pretty good, but I have to smack my own hands not to measure myself every day. No progress makes me crave choc, so I know it won't help, but I want RESULTS. NOW.

Oh dear...that TGIs has just far to many lovely bad things. I started with cheesy potato skins and there were 2 of us sharing what they say is for 2-3 so I had more than a single portion. Main was a pasta and chicken thing in a creamy sauce - bad! And I had the most gorgeous sinful chocolate fudge cake after. Am dreading getting on the scales on Sunday :(
Welcome aboard jojo - zumba is brilliant but I agree with you on running, I just can't. I do a wee bit on the treadmill (usually not much more than 1K at the moment) but can't do 50 metres outdoors. If I'm not enjoying it I'll just go sulk and pig on chocolate!

I've stayed the same this week, which isn't entirely surprising. We went out for tea last night and I had 3 courses! so I should probably be grateful I haven't gained...

Oh my word ladies, its all horrible. Had my final fitting yesterday and when I went in there was this ridiculously skinny woman in her dress going 'they ordered the dress in a size 4 and I think it should have been a 2. So me and my size 14 dress were at a disadvantage. Plus, she pretty much had to force the zip up then sweep the back fat inside the dress.

I'm not dieting today because I had my hen last night and I'm hungover but from tomorrow I need to do something drastic to make sure my dress fits on the day. Any ideas?

Code - I'm sure it's not as bad as that. Could you do the raw diet for a week? It's as it sounds - just fruit and veg, nothing cooked. So, lots of salads and munching on carrot sticks. It's meant to be a very good detox if you can stick to it?

    Hey ladies!

After a very bad bank holiday weekend eating wise, the diet restarts today!!

Code you will look beautiful in your wedding dress! Ridiculously skinny isn't a good look anyway, boys don't like bony girls! hehe. As a short term fix you could try doing a week of no carbs. Its no good long term as the minute you eat carbs again the weight goes on but as a short term I find it gets read of the bloat and might help you feel better.

Or you could do the raw diet and maybe add in some lean turkey or chicken just to make things a bit more interesting?

Ps ellay TGI's is amazing! Lots of very tempting (but naughty) options!! Hope you had a lovely birthday!

Wow, it's quiet in here. You must have all had the bank holiday, you lucky things.

Just came across this which I thought might be helpful

I'm trying to be good today. Porridge with skimmed milk for breakfast, vegetable soup for lunch and because I couldn't be bothered when I got in, I just had spaghetti on toast. I had one sweet - H2Bs mum brought us some harrogate toffee and I tried one but wasn't keen.

I'm on weight watchers, have been for about a year now and I'm the worst for coming off and going back on then coming off again!

My wedding dress has been ordered in a 16 - which I like to attribute to my chest because I usually wear a 14 (12 on a good day!) but I did look ultra slim in my dress so I'll cope!
