    The AMD Turion X2 is equivalent to the Intel core duo only on paper. The only thing common is that both are dual core. According to some magazines, they've benchmarked these processors and have found that Intel ones are 15-20% faster than the equivalent AMD ones. IMHO I think that it is quite a bit. I would personally go for the Intel ones.

    trouble is would you notice it?
    Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems :( Well at least i learn something on the way :D

    Didn't even use Quidco either so I guess it could be had for under £400.
    Like I said, I'll wait until it turns up before I post further info. Just want to be sure it can be done first.

    If anyone is planning a trip to the States, you can purchase a laptop to the highest spec you desire. But what you have to remember when going through customs! is to declare it as a buisness tool and you have to have it up and running.
