We have had almost two weeks of constant wind & rain & sunny spells and all of next week is to be the same I am SO desperate for some warm sun
My garden has just started to spring to life in the last few days, so at least the soil is warming up even if I'm not...! 0 -
You can have some of our sun and I'll have some of your rain please. It's a dust bowl here.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0

I am using a great big blue water carrying bag that goes in the wheelbarrow. I take it to the butt and pour it into a medium trug and transfer it that way. We can`t use hosepipes any time and a couple of older ones use this method. It`s good
I am re-checking the forecast now as it can change day to day0 -
the forecast is up to 5 now so I am not fleecing. Phew!!
I see the wind is due to get strong again. I`m glad I made a windbreak for the squashes and courgettes. Builders mesh, canes, string and some pegs0 -

Do you know anyone who camps or caravans? Because caravaners always have a aquaroll or similar for carrying their water and campers often have weird contraptions (we have some metal frame thing with wheels on that we put a huge water container on with tap), maybe you could borrow something like that until June?Courage is the art of being the only one who knows you're scared to death.

I've got an aquaroll but it doesn't hold nearly the volume of water I need... do they do bigger ones? The tap is not too far but it's the regularity of the trips that's the problem... I make old people noises when I sit down now! Still no rain in sight. Just heard on the news that places in the south east have had 10 percent of their expected rainfall. Batten down the hatches and stock up on bottled water folks!Well behaved women rarely make history.0

What size is your aquaroll? ANd how much water do you need to transport?Courage is the art of being the only one who knows you're scared to death.
