    I dont really understand your reasoning ska lover - on the one hand you say that the lad shouldnt have worn something expensive to play in - then you say that you would pay up because you are afraid of it escalating?
    Escalating? so you advocate going against your own convictions for fear of someones reaction?
    Very fuzzy thinking here! either 'tshirt guy' is right or Ripper guy is right - or perhaps compromise and pay half - but I really wouldnt knuckle under and pay up out of fear!
    What sort of message would that send to the kids?
