My neighbour has just come in to give me a parcel that arrived yesterday for me when I had DS1 up at the golf course with his Grandad.

Very, very cool ................ a black Lanson Champagne box containing 2 bedside lampshades from the lovely Maryb. They are absolutely perfect for the double letting room. Thank you, thank you, thank you............... and such a lovely box too!!!

Won't the bin-man think I am very ritzy :rotfl:

    MG

Glad the lampshades will do - but I did say not to get too excited about the box!! Should explain - we have a wine merchants at the bottom of our road and he has lots of empty boxes. I wish we had created the empty box ourselves, but sadly, no
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

Ah - but the fact you CHOSE a champagne box rather that a White Lightning one says volumes :rotfl:

Morning all, another glorious one here today I think.
    • Congratulations Parsniphead you must be so pleased. As for the catching up - do it now because I doubt you are going to have much time later :)
    • Gemmzie - intriguing I hope it is to do with the flat but will check out the other side
    • Fantasia - what a great place to find. That is why I love going on new walks. Once found a hermits house up in a forest near Pitlochry.
    • Claire - hope today is better for you and you can get onto the laptop ok.
Hope that covers everybody, you lot cant half talk :rotfl:

Spent yesterday entertaining Mr C's parents :( but I will not be negative. Good part of it was I got to sit by the seaside and watch the dolphins in the bay whilst eating Chocolate Chip Ice Cream (capitals well deserved). It was easy to switch off at that point shame that my menieres was playing up causing me to have poor hearing ;)

I have just done my 15 minutes dancing - good way to start the day. Coco joins in and bobs up and down on his perch whilst shouting Good Boy, I think he is very confused :) Nothing better than a bit of Michael Buble to get me going in the morning (ooerr Mrs)

Oh yes please I'll have him to get me going in the morning ;)
Once I've finished on MSE I am off to do 15 mins of something to make my heart sing which will either be yoga or dancing. Or perhaps I'll push the boat out and do both ;)

Also am planning on eating some frogs this morning:
    update meal planner
knuckle down and take pics of items I want to ebay

There don't seem to be terribly awful jobs but I keep procrastinating about doing it so frogs they be :)
