(((claire)))))))))) I really do hope you can find someone in real life to talk to about this - even a confidential helpline or something, get it off your chest? It's really not acceptable you know to be faced with language and behaviour like that, in *any* circumstances. I know if it happens gradually it can seem like it's not so bad, but think what you'd say if it was a friend telling you what you've told us? MG's right, talk to someone who you can tell the whole story too. Thinking of you xx I'll PM the website link in a minute

Welcome back Souk! Sorry to hear your mum was so poorly. Your sunday afternoon sounds utterly gorgeous :)

Well done MG for all your digging! And what a fabulous parcel! :T :T

I've spent the afternoon fixing no less than 3 bikes while watching Mary Poppins :T I have sworn a lot, got absolutely covered in oil (and had a mini fight with Mr daffs :o) but they're done, and I'm darn pleased with myself for my persistence :T :T :T Well deserved cup of tea now :coffee:

Whooossshhh - just watch this thread go :j. Love the MG You-tube channel - don't you sound a young wee slip of a thing MG.

Fantasia - "shruggy shoulder icon thing" Could it be some sort of Victorian folly???

Claire - agree with MG re verbal abuse and lack of respect. Maybe worth finding someone impartial in real life to have a chat with. Thinking of you.

Hi to all returnees and newbies.

Susan - sorry to hear things have been tough - been there, done that, got the black-dog t-shirt (which has currently been flung in the washing bin :D). Keep popping on to let us know how you are getting on.

Latest news at Thrifty Towers... some of you may remember a couple of months back that dd entered an acting competition with over 40 entries. Well today was the final and she got 3rd place :T. I know I have mummy goggles but she is soooo good - I am now wrecked after all the nerves (mine not hers) so have opened a bottle of red - medicinal purposes you understand :rotfl:. Off to drink a glass or two and devour some choccie eggs :EasterBun:easter_ba:EasterBun

Thanks TSL , the word Folly sorted it out
    its this one lol

    Hi Memorygirl and all.

I used to spend a lot of time on your threads last year, but things have been so hectic I got left behind - blimey you lot can talk.:rotfl::p Anyway I noticed the new thread and thought I would throw myself back into the middle of it all. It was always so positive. I will be nice to hear whats been happening and how things have moved on.

I was one of the folks who got a copy of The Secret. I can be quite skeptical about that sort of thing but it seems to have worked for me, the positive thinking thing. Last year had been quite tough as I lost three babies but after reading I tried to be more hopeful and found out I was pregnant last august - I have five weeks to go before my little bundle arrives.:j:D:j Anyway I feel this is definitely the time to make as many changes as possible. I would really love to not go back to work next February and start working for myself again. I'm 40 now so this will probably be by only chance to be a mum and I want to spend as much quality time together as possible. I feel that being surrounded by the most positive bunch on MSE is going to help me push myself even more. So anyway I came back.

Blimey I'm waffling today.:o Sorry back to the rest of you.:T
