  • ooh lots of new people :) thank you for the welcome.

my good news - well it came from sad news. I have a small inheritance which is going to enable me to make big changes to my immediate situation, both domestic and financial. I am in a lot of debt which I have been battling away at for the last 18 months or so since having the old LBM :) I will still have a fair bit but the news lightens the load somewhat. And most importantly I owe it to the person who left me it, to be the best I can be and make the best of what I have :T

little bit about me - I am 32, live on my own with a part-time pet who I share with my ex hubs. Last year I had to call off my wedding to my ex fiance and it took me a long time to deal with all the fall out from that, as he was emotionally very draining. I am a full time accountant and part time musician, and while the balance is ok at the moment, I am having something of a musical awakening and am loving where this is taking me. I bought my ex hubby out of our house but it's a big mortgage and big old house that needs a lot of work doing to it. However having moved around all my life, I am craving stability so am glad that I will now be able to stay put and make some real roots for myself :)

ginger nut recipe looks great, will definitely try that as my Dad helps a lot with DIY stuff and is addicted to ginger biscuits so that's what I pay him in :D

Wish my Dad worked for Ginger Nuts:rotfl:

He's cute - he offers to help and then says "will be having XXX for after lunch?"

Can't really complain as it's just him and my Mum, so baking is not really worth it for them. But 3 adults and 2 kids - well its worth it on the days he is here :D

About 3 mins to video launch apparently

Lionhearted girl... what instrument do you play? I am also a full time accountant (there are a few of us on the matrix!) and I indulge in quite a bit of singing. :) I love music. Any music. At the moment I am listening to Classic FM, but I am equally happy listening to Folk Music and hip hop! :D

Right... I am needed in the kitchen!! :D See you all later!

Happy Bday Lara and Happy Easter all.

Glad there's a new thread as I was never going to catch up on all that I'd missed on the old one!

MG whats your ultimate grocery challenge all about? Glad your well and have your mojo back and lovley to see that your boys are such a credit to you.

My heart is singing ladies. Im lying along my couch with Elaine Page on Radio 2 and enjoying some chocolate that came with my Easter egg.

HATED not being online but back on and getting back on track. Missed you all. Mum was really ill for a bit which was scary but her and Dad are away out for lunch today and she's so much better. A new start indeed X
