I have passed the credit check - :T The house is mine!!!!! Just need to get rid of the old one (going to swallog a mahoosive toad and contact the managing agent). Now if just universe would give me enough money to actually buy this new place and then do it up I would really be deleriously (sp?) over the moon.

Wooo hoooo Marru well done :T:T Now I have another excuse to come round and see the new place ;)

Don't worry about it, lucielle: I just asked for £100K.

Well, if you are going for it, why do it by halves?! :rotfl:

Well I have a cheque written out for £10,000,000 :o:o I starting thinking about how much money I'd like to be able to do all the things I wanted and I decided to go for the really big figure. Rest assured a fair portion of that will be going to other people and charities etc. I originally asked for £1 million but after I've bought our dream cottage (and land) in the country, a place for my parents, my FIL, helped out various members of the family I'd be overdrawn :rotfl: Then there's the Donkey Sanctuary I'd like to help out, smaller animal charities too, kids cancer charities, leukaemia charity......honestly the list is endless. I am happy with enough money to be able to live a comfy life in the sticks with H being able to retire so the excess is really for other people.

So come on Universe I am waiting for my big Lotto win :D

Just made MG's biccies. Lush with Nutella as she suggested :D

Guys, don't knock the Universe thing, please. It has been working for me, all right. And when you ask think whetehr you are creating a bigger problem.

May the Universe be with us! Again.

Now I have to get back to work, because it works mainly when you meet it halfway.

    Waheyyy Marru!!!

Thanks for the reminder about car maintenance Lucielle - it got "removed" from my spreadsheet, although was still being allocated so my numbers didn't balance IYSWIM

The biccies are fab aren't they - and I think the chocolate spread adds a little "dinnae ken what?? :rotfl: Oh yes I do, inches to the bahookie :rotfl:

And for all our talk of dream numbers - the Matrix - priceless!!!!! Wouldn't trade you lot in for a pension - well not MY pension there's only £300 a year in that .

But 2.2 million if you are listenning Universe.

I'd love a steading to convert - the family living in the house with loads of rooms for people to come and stay. A big kitchen garden out the back and a polytunnel to play with. A Garden that opens onto the garden with big clean windows.

Chooks out there - cos it would give Clootie an excuse to visit me loads.

One side of the steading as a Montessori School of DS1 and 2 and loads of local kids. A school set up for the kids to get the very best and sod all the politics (and HTH issues)

The other side with a training room and "incubator" units - so that People can come and learn with me and I can support people starting off in business.

And a big field out the back where the Matrix can bring their tents and campers and hang out for long weekends of craft courses, fabulous food and homebrewed Champagne.

.............. ooops - got a wee bit carried away there :rotfl:

Well you know what they say "You gotta have a Dream, cos if you don't have a dream. How you gonna make a dream come true???"

That is 0.07% of your £2.2m! Which is a good start in anyone's book!
