Way to go Matrix. Well done on the cheque MG.
Marru - how fabulous for you. I hope that you will be very happy in your new home. Will it allow you space to do any of your animal work?

Cheery, there is nothing at all wrong in having all you need. Remember my mantra, I have more than enough for my needs BUT I would really like.................. It certainly works when you have that frame of mind.

A cheque sounds like a good way to focus on what you need to do to bring that money in ladies. I heard about a young girl last year who put up a picture of her dream house with a cheque of how much she needed for a deposit (£20000) on the fridge. She entered the Loose Women competition and won £20000!!! See it works. But remember be specific in what you are asking for because otherwise you might get the money in the wrong form.

A good and happy day - nowt momentous but set myself up by doing a very positive assembly at school so I felt happy all day. Also managed to munch through 3 lingering and major frogs which made me even happier. AND have just realised today is Tuesday and that means Holby City is on:j

Dh got an emergency days holiday so for once (in 17 years) he has been dealing with builders and the insurance over the half stolen roof lead - normally he would shirk out of any responsibility and leave it all to muggins but this time he has just got on with it and also tidied through downstairs while he had spare time. Am going to ask the universe for a wee £100 to pay the insurance excess for the work - no point being greedy.

The big mess up at work has not been mentioned today so apart from the big meeting on Thursday it has all but blown over and certainly isn't going to be as immense as it felt last week.

Thanks again for all the lovely positiveness you lot shared last week.

Wooo hoooo Marru well done :T:T Now I have another excuse to come round and see the new place ;)

No need to wait, pop in anytime. (And I have some material that was supposed to be a maternity dress for myself, as DD is now 6 and I have no intentions of having another one you are welcome to it. I might actually find it when I start packing again. Nice light weight cotton.)

I should be out of her 13th of May the latest

Kittikins - hope you feel better soon.

Cheri: I have stable yard backing my new garden so I hope that at least some kissing horses will get done :D

Tonight I will write a cheque for £500k. That would buy the house, do it up, pay off my debts and give a loooooovely [STRIKE]little[/STRIKE] very comfortable cushion.

Oooo........I forgot my other frog. It's one I have been pondering for months.

    Panda needed a bath!!

Now Panda is quite an elderly panda and he is too big to fit in the washing machine. I decided to take him to the dry cleaners. However they wouldn't take him because it is apparantly impossible to get the fumes out of the stuffing. So Panda, who has been sitting in the loft for around 35 years, has recently been sitting on the floor looking glumly at me waiting for his tub. Today oh just mentioned 'he mightn't fit in the washing machine, but how about the dishwasher!' Bingo.......problem solved. So I popped him in and now you can actually tell which bits are black and which bits are white!!

I think the problem now will be how to get him dry!! He's quite a big boy, filled with foam, and currently dripping in the garden.

My mother bought Panda when my son was born and now son (who turns 40 later this year) has a son of his own I thought he might like to have Panda back. Didn't think my dil would be too pleased with a grubby Panda but hopefully, given a few months to dry, he will be smart enough to be acceptable.

Marru - clearly your move will be an excellent time to sort through ALL your stuff ;) Any fabric you have will be most welcome :)

Susan - Love the inventive-ness of using the DW for cleaning panda :rotfl: Once the weather turns do you have say an airing cupboard big enough for him to sit in to dry off? I wouldn't suggest stuffing him in the oven on low ;)

Wow, the thread has moved on loads since I last posted!

Congratulations Marru on the house, and great news MG on the booking :D

Well this morning was relatively uneventful with hardly any fighting over the bathroom lol :). Need to keep up the good work now and make sure stuff is prepared for the morning.

I've read some more of The Secret today and have printed off the cheques from the website. I'm planning to fill it in for £500, which will make me a happy bunny this month :).

So, Universe, I want £500 additional cash this month please :).

I don't have all the steps yet, but I'm sure they'll appear as the month progresses and I'll take the appropriate actions as needed...over to you!

    Amazing news ladies!!!!

I was sitting thinking yesterday how I would have no bother buying clothes for my hols as I would have an extra £50 in my account spare after my friends wedding in June so between July and Aug I'd have £100 for it. I went to my mums yesterday and she gave me yep yopu guessed it £100 for holiday clothes and toiletries!!!! Off to Primarni tomorrow to get some vests, boob tube tops, sarongs, sundresses etc! X
