Aaaargh spent 6 hours with a sobbing and moaning toothachey and earachey 4 year old last night then calpol finally kicked in at 10 o'clock last night and he wanted to talk about everything he has ever seen, done or heard in his life so far - he is STILL going strong today! His sister is playing with him and I am off to get a slug of calpol to give some manic energy too.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
Emergency fund £1000/£1000

Morning all
First little frog of the day eaten. Going to have a cuppa and wash up and hope to hear from DH before heading to the shower. Nice and quiet here, big ones gone to the golf, middle one asleep, cats fed and asleep, youngest watching tv.
Two bedrooms to get cleaned before lunchtime and later today I will put some stuff on ebay, I will, I will, I will. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Oh Dora - thats crappy - I remember exactly how this song goes. Isn't it funny though how they always bounce back three times faster than we do. One dose of Calpol and they are fine and we are left fading in their wake.
Endless supply of coffee and tea needed for today - then start planning from about 3 this afternoon for an early night (for you not them:D)
Its our Rest and Relaxation day today - and I have got three things that need ironed that weren't dry yesterday - and you know what? They are going in the basket to be left for another day because I am not pulling out the ironing board again.

Good for you MG. Poor Dora try to rest in the quiet times.
Here is my personal development talk for today. I think it is something that really fits with the Matrix ethos http://www.ted.com/talks/steve_jobs_how_to_live_before_you_die.htmlSome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

When I was a student I could shop for a week of £7.50
Tesco Value huge bags of pasta, chicken soup, bread, fishfingers, and frozen sausages (oh and some vodka!).
Wow how cheap was your Vodka? :rotfl:
H is just reminiscing about how in the days BC (before children) Sundays would be a leisurely start to the day, reading the Sunday papers (not that I remember ever doing that :rotfl:) and not the manic, shouty noisefest that it currently is. My poor body feels like it's been on it's feet all day and they don't appear to be showing any signs of having done the same yesterday. This is WITHOUT the benefit of Capol  Mind you shan't be swigging the pink stuff anytime soon......it's absolutely vile!
Dusty - Hope H is OK xx
Dora - My DS is like this without calpol. Goes to bed (late due to his ASD) and would just rabbit rabbit rabbit until our ears bleed if we let him :rotfl:
I see a small patch of blue sky and some weak sunshine. Hmmm think weather is going to be a mixed bag today, been tipping it down with rain all morning!I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Oooh yes I remember ThunderbirdsNot that I drank any. Honest. No really.
When I was 17-19 couldn't afford to do much drinking in clubs so we would all share a bottle of Mag Dog 20/20. OMG that stuff tastes like battery acid to me now. Orange flavour, strawberry flavour.......do better cleaning the drains with it :rotfl:I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
