    Ok I am back!!

Thank god, thank god, thank god I had a barrister with me. She was bl00dy brilliant!!

I've got a barrister mate - she would really appreciate a handwritten card thanking her I am sure - (My mate often deals with "naughty boys" and a case like your when she was helping someone is a breath of air)

Ex came with assistant (It wasn't a representative but someone that obviously knew what he was talking about), they submitted draft order to the court (without clearing it with us first) so I was so glad to have someone who knew what needed to be done, talked the talk etc. I would have been steamrolled without her.

End result that for next three months he will get access extended from two hours to five. I will drop her off in the contact centre before they open (she will walk from one car to another) and I will pick her up from the centre when the staff is there so that they can assist with the handover back (that was always the problematic one).

I agreed with the weekly phone contact, engineered it to be just before beavers i.e. we have a cut off point and also something else for DD to get distracted with after the call. Obviously we don't have this during school holidays but best I was able to come up with.

    Good thinking there Marru

He wanted me to have to ask his permission every time I take DD out of the country but we managed to get that so that I only need to ask permission if I take her out for more than 28 days in time (and by agreeing to accommodate for him to have extra meetings with her to compensate any missed contact while away). I do have to tell him where I am going month before I go.

This is standard I am told - allows for you to take her family holidays etc

This is now to be in place every other Saturday until the next hearing which is in early November that they now think is going to be the final hearing but I have a feeling we are in and out of the court for a long time yet. Especially if I want to go and go abroad to be part of an accounting development project and take her with me I need to have pretty good case to get court to allow me to do that. But I need to qualify first so give me couple of years.

Marru hon, - my prediction is that he will have "lost interest" long before you qualify - and if you have a better job offer, suitable home and school for DD a judge is very unlikely to deny you the opportunity to move with her. Just keep a diary of his "f**kwittage" for the future just in case

After the court I hit the shops. As I couldn't find shoes that I liked in my size I went and got 3 tops from (Wyella :o), ok they were in sale and will be perfect for work. I picked DD up early from after school club and we went and had tea in a pub. I still have migraine, tablet didn't work. So now I just need to get her to bed and crash. And also get back to MSE way of life - this week has been a bit expensive

But first WINE, WINE, WINE, CAKE AND CHOCOLATE - in fact I am off to raise a glass to your barrister right now.

AND THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ALL FOR LOVELY WISHES!!!!

Yeah!!! they are all lovely aren't they:kisses:

Marru, not long in from work and gym so missed giving you good wishes but so glad it wasn't too awful today.

I'll raise a cup of herbal tea to you when I hop into my bath later. (No wine thanks to the diet!)

Aww Marru, I am so glad it went well for you - have been wondering how you got on. Isn't it strange how you worry about people who you have never even met. I will raise a glass of red to you very shortly . Are you going to keep your barrister with you now?

Girls. forgot to ask what in lords name do I do with a green lentil. MG does lovely things with them on her blog and I know I cook them first but can I then micro them for lunch at work once they're cooked. Sorry really daft question but as a non veggie I've never used them before but they're allowed on the diet and I thought I'd get some to ring the changes?!

Just for you Souk I will go and upload some lentil recipes - but light summery stuff for a start. Check on the blog about - Oh about lunchtime.

I've decided to post the recipes there on a separate page page as suggested.

First - the boys and I are going to spend some time in the garden before breakfast.
