And today's unexpected occurrence.... at 5.00pm, having just got dressed after my gifted massage, there was a knock at the door, and I answered it... "hello, I've come to view your house". A woman with her young son.

Property manager at the solicitors hadn't remembered to let me know ... and right now the house is needing a bit of attention. I pointed to my head (hair plastered to head by massage oil) and said I was just off a massage table and the masseur was still there, and really sorry but I hadn't been told about her visit and neither I nor the house was ready for viewing and could she come back later? Not tonight, she said, nor tomorrow morning.

So she now has my phone number and I just hope she does ring back to make an arrangement to view... the first person in the past 5 weeks. But I needed about an hour to get things ship shape.

And no way of contacting the property manager till Monday! Someone wasn't doing their job....

Hope things have been ok for you today Marru

Had a good morning - made it half way up a climbing wall but my finger nails were really too long to go any higher with titchy hand holds! Have been to a climbing centre in the past but forgotten how good and scary it used to be, might have to look at doing more exciting stuff again - used to go walking, potholing, climbing but do nowt now and definitely need to do more exercise. Have decided to contact a sports centre near dd's school that does boot camps for a reasonable price and see if I can do one in the summer hols as well as get on wii fit and bike more.

No roofy news although someone has been up there today cos ripped lead has been moved around a bit - police were going to come out but they've not left anything to say they've been and roofer hasn't left a message either. Am going to get dh to climb up when he gets home so we can at least tidy it up or they'll be up for easy pickings tonight.

    Ok I am back!!

Thank god, thank god, thank god I had a barrister with me. She was bl00dy brilliant!!

Ex came with assistant (It wasn't a representative but someone that obviously knew what he was talking about), they submitted draft order to the court (without clearing it with us first) so I was so glad to have someone who knew what needed to be done, talked the talk etc. I would have been steamrolled without her.

End result that for next three months he will get access extended from two hours to five. I will drop her off in the contact centre before they open (she will walk from one car to another) and I will pick her up from the centre when the staff is there so that they can assist with the handover back (that was always the problematic one).

I agreed with the weekly phone contact, engineered it to be just before beavers i.e. we have a cut off point and also something else for DD to get distracted with after the call. Obviously we don't have this during school holidays but best I was able to come up with.

He wanted me to have to ask his permission every time I take DD out of the country but we managed to get that so that I only need to ask permission if I take her out for more than 28 days in time (and by agreeing to accommodate for him to have extra meetings with her to compensate any missed contact while away). I do have to tell him where I am going month before I go.

This is now to be in place every other Saturday until the next hearing which is in early November that they now think is going to be the final hearing but I have a feeling we are in and out of the court for a long time yet. Especially if I want to go and go abroad to be part of an accounting development project and take her with me I need to have pretty good case to get court to allow me to do that. But I need to qualify first so give me couple of years.

After the court I hit the shops. As I couldn't find shoes that I liked in my size I went and got 3 tops from (Wyella :o), ok they were in sale and will be perfect for work. I picked DD up early from after school club and we went and had tea in a pub. I still have migraine, tablet didn't work. So now I just need to get her to bed and crash. And also get back to MSE way of life - this week has been a bit expensive

AND THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ALL FOR LOVELY WISHES!!!!
