Yay for the £ TMIF - send it down here will ya:p Got to get roofer out cos some eejit has tried to nick our lead AGAIN - 2nd time in 3 months. Yet again didn't manage to actually steal any just ripped it all the way along roof . There have been loads of break-ins round here recently so I had nipped home before going for a cuppa and cake with a friend when I saw the roof and then came in the house to check and no problems inside, but put my keys down and then locked myself out (doh!). SO have just got keys from dh (he was in pool at distant leisure centre with 2 clients with brain injuries so couldn't exactly rush home) Kids were at Nans so they have been fed and I have had my cuppa at friends and a large cream cake.

Is weird but actually although I was initially:mad:hence slamming the door with keys on the wrong side I am now back to "oh well sh*t happens" and dh gets paid tomorrow - you win some you lose some.

Being positive and in the positive company on here does help - although beware anyone who I find climbing on my roof tonight cos I will shout at you in my best outraged deputy headteacher voice and you WILL leave my roof:rotfl:

Dorastar - cheeky beggars :( I am impressed with your attitude though, well done lady. I would love to see your best deputy head voice so if you do catch them make sure you film it and stick it on Youtube ;)

Just eating my tea (yes I know it's late but wasn't hungry earlier). Anyway I have grown some mixed salad leaves that I got as a freebie and I have come to the conclusion I don't really like them :o B*gger my other lollo rossa lettuce isn't anywhere ready which means I shall have to go back to buying it <sigh> my veggie stuff this year has been a bit disappointing. Not to self stick to little gem and I won't go wrong ;)

Ace news TMIF and MG, it's matching sets all the way here lady!!!

Had a call from a recruitment agency today and they are putting me forward for a job in Edinburgh. If the company want to see me then I'll have an interview soon so things are moving there. Dont NEED to move til october when the lady with the baby comes back but would like to go a bit sooner just so I'm sorted.

Went to aerobics tonight and it was fun. Really enjoying this exercise malarkey, amazingly enough!

  • Good news tmif :j:j:j - so it's superman knickers all round then is it :p It can be our secret code :rotfl:.

We could have a group photo taken and then Dorastar could blow it up and pin it on her roof - your lead roof would be safe then missus :rotfl:. Sorry, tired tonight, a bit giddy :D.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:They would probably try to nick that as well!!!!

Finished off my bad but positive day with a horrendous night hugging the toilet as my nut allergy seems to have got worse and had eaten 6 cashews (normally no problem) and my body felt the need to eject the foul things by whichever means possible:( Am looking forward to a school trip this morning with 40 kids who have won the housepoints trophy - we are off to a supervised active sports centre where apparently my job will be to sit in the cafe and eat toast and drink tea and essentially look after bags and coats. This has to be the best trip ever.:T

Court today at 2 pm. Having a headache so debating if I should take one of the new tablets I got. But I don't know if they knock me out and I need to drive and keep a clear head. Off to do breakfast so hopefully some food and more water will sort me out.
