...where as I would take the money ;)

    Me too :D

Crickett - Loved your blog, have become a follower :D Well done on getting through your appointment xx

Thrifty - good on ya for working on a "staycation" :D

Not much going on here, made bunting yesterday for DD's birthday party and cupcakes. Spent more money on the stuff for her cake which me and my mum will start next week. Sun is out now which is nice :j

Lovin' the castles. I got married here which although not as glamorous as the castles I've seen was a little hidden gem :D TMIF I don't see why they wouldn't let you use Edinburgh :rotfl: We Matrix-ers have to think BIG ;)

    Awww it's pretty Bitsy :)

I just like the Scottish wedding rules - i.e. you can do it outside, and you don;t have to have to have that awful civil ceremony outside the church :)

Thanks for the compliment Bitsy! I am really enjoying putting blog posts together... I have already written my posts up until Sunday... and intend to work on Mondays and Tuesdays tonight, when I get home.

Have also found a Nutritionist locally to me. She has more qualifications than I have had hot dinners!! I sent her an email and she called me back really fast. I have an appointment to see her at a local gym (where she runs some consultations, although she was happy to see me in my home, her home, wherever really!) for Tuesday evening after work. And I have decided on my therapist as well. Her consultations are at her home, which happens to be on my route home from work, and she specialises in dynamic pyschotherapy which I find works really well. :D Wow. What a day! And although I still feel crap... I have had a really positive day!

And I have taken tomorrow as leave... hoorah!! :D Lots to do before I get to leave for the night though!! :D

Ah good on you Crickett, yep you feel crap but you're taking positive steps to dealing with it. Also had a thought re excercise, where I am theres a govt run initiative for people who are wanting to get fit and who have been referred by their doctor. They then get a kick start course at the council gym and free or very cheap rates for gym, swimming etc. I know your Dr is vile but would it be worth looking at your council gyms website to see if such a thing is offered and then getting him to refer you? That way you would save some cash and get a good start under your belt? Just an idea and hope I dont offend you with it. My council gym is great and close but not cheap so Im just assuming yours is the same! They might not have this scheme there but if they do it might be a way to get you some exercise to help you achieve your goals and lift your mood. X

Wow, Cricket - not much grass growing under your feet. :j:j I like the blog and I very much like the idea of the nutritionist. :T:T I'm so sure there is more to weight problems than just the amount you eat. We've all known people who stuff chocolate and all sorts of naughty things and have no weight gain. It works the other way, too. A friend of mine lost so much weight that the doctor referred her to a psychiatrist as he thought she was anorexic. To be honest, I thought she had cancer, she was so thin and so down. Hey presto, someone thought to check her thyroid and it was very overactive. She's fine now.

Keep up the good work and we'll cheer you on. :T:T:T

Hugs to everyone else and good vibes.
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Thanks for the idea Souk. I actually belong to a private gym and pool complex, and i go as often as my energy levels allow me to. At the moment, because I have been feeling so pants, I have not gone as often as I would have liked. Plus... the council pools are a little bit... yucky. Not very well maintained. So, I prefer to pay for the nice environment. Silly, I suppose, but I think it is worth it. And when I have energy then I also have my Sports Active and Wii Fit Plus stuff too. I just need that energy back.

Thank you for the compliments about the blog. I am ridiculously excited about it!! :D

Yup, there's also my step mum speaking to me. I cannot stand her, it's everything about her including the whiny voice.

Oh Sweetie - we have all had rotten bosses and if you are going to work for yourself you will also have rotten clients on occasions. Like the rest of us you will learn to pull your Superman knickers up, slap a smile on your face and take the money. Once you have the money, then you have won after all.

Can you read back in this thread and find out how Crickett got on when her "not-the-most-favourite-person-on-the-planet" got assigned the desk next to her???? Might be worth considering.

Of course we will all still be here waiting for you to vent of an evening - but as long as your are earning you are moving towards your dreams. Don't let your stepmum ruin that for the sake of a few hours per day. Be the bigger woman:D
