Daffy - 2 lots of insurance for 20 years?!!! Oh my word, get it sorted asap.

MG - You mentioning the man from the Pru took me right back to when I was a kid and the man from the Pru would turn up each week for his money. or maybe it was the pools man. I vaguely remember an orange book with the figure of a man on the front in a suit. Did I have hallucinations when I was a kid or does anyone else actually remember the same? :o

Crickett - Deep breaths lovey, deep breaths. Easier said than done, try not to stew about Dr.....they're there to help you xxx

Kittikins - glad it went OK.

Claire - Hope Emma sells well today :)

Did some of the ironing but not all of it. Boy it was hot though. We've had a little bit of rain but I can't say it feels much cooler :o

Strangey old day today, ds woke up desperate to make apple pie (don't know where tha came from) and dd had to be woken up from a very deep sleep and had no idea who/where/why she was - think her busy weekend had caught up with her.

School fine but felt really whoozy and had to sit out of one of my lessons and drink water - was really light-headed and am still feeling shaky (period started so can only put it down to that but am still not 100% yet)

Am going to have to speak to boss tomorrow as he left school early (again!) to go and sort out his new car and left the secretary to tell me and left me to run another staff meeting. He whinges at anyone who asks to miss meetings for doc appointments and the like and then he bogs off at the slightest thing. He is carp at dealing with people and lacks common courtesy which I find very  as I consider it important that a head leads by example, which he can't do if he can't be bothered being there. Am going to plan what I want to get across while I am nice and calm tonight, any positive ways to get my message across would be appreciated.

DS1 has made his decision - small school it is. Thankfully they have one place left for him so must get that sorted early tomorrow.

Now off to finish some bits of work and bloggie stuff

  • Well the heatwave has passed us by, managed to spend a couple of hours in the garden today, dodging the showers.

Glad the small school has one place left for ds1 :T.

Positive vibes for tomorrow Crickett, (((hugs))) to all, Thriftyxxx

MG, wise your DS1 is (this is the best I can do as Yoda)! And well done on savings from insurance - once a year it is and a very good result. Can be left alone and you can free energy to focus on other stuff.

Members of the Matrix, thank you very much for the wishing for my DS1. He has not been phoned, however, which makes me think that he probably did not get the job. He will get something soon - I just feel it; I know it!
