Feeling sorry for myself - but self inflicted so need for sympathy. Too much sun, too litle water = headache and uncomfortable heat rash. had a little lie down (or nana nap thanks Dorastar) but not too much better. Added to tennis elbow and a touch of sciatica I think I am going to slouch for rest of evening and dream of being a size 18 lol.

Sorry to moan when those further North didn't even get the sun. And Spring cleaning - no chance Fair play to those getting on with it.

Do make sure you replace the fluids you lost TDQ (And the salt/sugar too) xx Hope you feel better soon

I burnt my head and shoulders. Why do I always forget to slather the cream on there...? Doh!

Aw I missed the musicals talk, I love them :D Although, haven't seen Footloose but will do before the remake comes out. Can't think of a current and goal song for me though. Went through a long time of "on my own" (Les Mis) territory and "out tonight" (Rent) though.

Gemzie - what about I dreamed a dream (Les Mis again) ((We'll ignore the negative connotations of the start of the song though))

I really do need to do some meal planning... Excavating my cupboards has made me realise that. I still haven't managed to reduce my frozen stuff from two freezers to one, so I must try to shop from home more (I really should have built a larder when I did the utility room, rather than having food in lots of different cupboards).

Letter from the consultant was here when I got back on Friday. Hyperplasia with atypia :( but luckily the way they did the biopsy means that they know it is nothing more. So 3 months of progesterone treatment (weight gain, hair loss, grumpiness... Not sure anyone will notice the latter :p) then another biopsy in November. Not feeling great about it, but I know I'm lucky I don't have to have a hysterectomy and I'm quite relieved I don't have to go back in to have a mirena fitted. Just trying to get my head round the fact that there is actually something wrong, and relieved that it was caught early.

Better get back to the kitchen cupboards and then water the garden! Some of the stuff in pots is looking rather sorry for itself!

Greenbee - I had to google your condition and I confess I am none the wiser now (too many long words):o But hugs to you......here's some positive vibes that the weigh gain and hair loss will pass you by. Can't do anything about the grumpiness though ;) that's one of the perks of being a woman :p

TMIF - I will have a look in Sainsbugs when I do my shopping for this week, thanks for the tip :D Hope your sunburn calms down soon x

I am in awe at anyone doing housework or spring cleaning in this heat (sorry MG and those oooop north :o) but it's been scorching here this afternoon. May I say it was a wee bit too hot in the sun at kids party, DS looked like a beetroot after running around so much. Still two very tired but happy kids are now tucked up in bed.

TDQ - Oh dear heatstroke is nasy, I prescribe a can of coke and a packet of plain hula hoops for the sugar and salt content. Keep drinking plenty xx

Marru - can't wait to see some pics of kitty :D

In case you have no idea what I'm on about I posted a couple of weeks ago asking for positive vibes for a job interview for my dream job!! Second interview on Thursday at 10:30, so if you could spare some positive vibes for me it would be very much appreciated!

Amazing what we can achieve between us!

Lovely pottering day here :T :T Have done 2 loads of washing, changed the sheets, done a good clean of the outside of the kitchen (fronts of cupboards - not cupboards themselves - got to start somewhere! :rotfl:), cleared out a few drawers, washed down the front door inside and out, and all the downstairs windows. Been food shopping, spent the day intermittently tending to Mr Daffs who's not been well, and been for a walk in the late sunshine :):) Lots of sitting and reading and drinking tea too :):):) A good day :):):)
