Afternoon all, well I finally did have to give in and rest yesterday, thankfully the drugs are now out of my system - however the pain is back :( I'm going to have to go back to the GP tomorrow and beg for more painkillers. For tonight, I'm hoping alcohol will do the trick.

Otherwise, I'm so glad I skipped my exam because I've just got my highest mark ever for the assignment I did last week :D

MG - I fear my very bendy days are over. Mind you I did ballet from the age of 4-13 years and I still couldn't do the splits LOL If I couldn't do it then there's no hope for me now!!!

Clootie - sorry but I've had to google BA Robertson. Hmmmm muscially the 70's were "interesting times" ;)

Gemmzie - Sorry you're in pain xx Well done on your high mark though :D

Lovin the 70's Music and I used to love BA Robertson when he was on Swap Shop on Saturday mornings :D He is a legend :T

My Mum always thought Donald O'Conner was a better dancer then Gene Kelly or Fred Astaire. She also thought that Eric Morecombe was a more natural mover than Ernie Wise. She wasn't a bad mover herself, used to frequent all the Glasgow Dance Halls in the 40's and used to do Display Dancing for one of the big Dance Bands. Wish I could remember who :(

Loving all the musical stuff and gee thanks MG!!!

Bitsy, just skim read last night but re feeling fat and frumpy, when that happens I have to attack the feeling with a serious case of bright lippy, heels etc. You dont want to scare the kiddies but a nice top or something works a treat too. The trick is not to let it overtake you, you need to beat it IYSWIM. I had one a few weeks ago and came home and got the eyeliner on for my dinner with mates.

Shattered after a bad sleep, a busy day at work and too many nights out so tonight I will mostly be festering with a bit of bad tv X

Still stuggling to keep up with you.

Musical for now: probably something from Les Miserables
What I would like to be: West Side Story, I am so pretty :rotfl:

Been in the Finnish mid summer party with sauna and BBQ. Fabulous!!! (especially the sauna) DD had such a good time that I hardly saw her. Because I had BF with me we found some nice English people to talk with so he didn't feel left out.

There were lots of yummy cakes but I didn't eat any, I did have small glass of shampagne (sp?) thou.

Just skimming through today ladies - I LOVE musicals and haven't seen HALF enough!

Also wanted to say - Bitsy, if you liked that maxi dress Bitsy, go back for it another day! Remember - not EVERYTHING is a sign from the universe, you know, much as it's tempting to believe it... sometimes things are just broken thread, easily fixed... :)
