    All this talk of musicals....
In London we went to see Priscilla, Queen of the Desert & it was brilliant (OK - I already loved the film) so I am now listening to the soundtrack - Go West, if you must know

    And.....
MG don't take this the worng way but

I always think of you when I hear stuff from the musical - must be the Drag Queen stories you tell

So - I now baptise you

Bitsy, with you on Gene Kelly.......... my dance hero. As for the old films, I swear that I should have lived in the 30s and 40s. Such glamour and decorum. Why cant we be that "together" these days.

Give me GK over Fred Astaire any day :o Fit, good looking and knows how to tap dance........my dream man. If only he weren't dead :rotfl:
We're probably not that "together" these days as we're busy doing other things.......like looking up Youtube vids :rotfl: Mind you I am not so sure the 30's and 40's were quite so great for those not wealthy enough to survive the depression and then there is the subsequent World War II......still I agree about the Hollywood glamour. If you've ever seen North By Northwest I LOVE the idea of a journey on a train like that......seems so stylish compared to the carpy trains I've been on :o

And the sound track goes on

    Piano tinkles....

At first I was afraid, I was petrified
Kept thinking I could never live without you by my side

    Now join in.....:D

But I spent so many nights thinking how you did me wrong
I grew strong, I learned how to carry on.......

    from outer space
I just walked in to find you here
with that sad look upon your face

Right I really am off for the week now.

See you on the other end of the week ladies. Have a good one. Can somebody keep a summary for me to catch up with at the end of the week please?

Thanks to everyone who congratulated me on finishing college, would've got my results yesterday but I didn't have chance to text my tutor to ask her to email them to me until late so now I have to wait til Monday. Looking for a job at the moment but it's pretty difficult when I can only get a bus to certain places and I can only do certain jobs due to lack of experience...
