Hey Fantasia, how is Leyla doing and is it all that dog walking that is making you lose weight? Hope that you are eating properly and taking care of yourself. Tis highly unusual for somebody to be losing weight when stopping smoking. You take care.

Leyla is fine, doing great, and loving life. The weight is going because of the physical stuff I'm doing at the shop. And I'm eating very healthily, and lots of it, its just getting burnt off. In my other job I was just sitting on my bahookie all day. I'm watching what I'm doing foodwise to make sure I eat the right things and dont pig out on stodge. Thanks Cheri ;)

Glad you enjoyed the wedding Souk. Congrats on lottery win robsmum.

I too have good news that I can share - I finally have an office / craft space all-of-my-own :j:j:j. A space in the house just-for-me, no sharing it with anyone else, not using the kitchen table, or a work-top, or hubbies desk, or in a through area, but an out of the way corner all of my own where I can set stuff up and leave it out :T:T:T. Can you tell I'm a little, well a lot excited :D.

Okay this is a true MSE table and will need to be sanded and painted but this is the first step of many in turning our house into an asset :T.

<insert a very envious icon> :rotfl: I'd love a craft space.....sadly the conservatory will be stuffed to the gills with toys and kids stuff so can't see a little niche being likely for me. On the subject of which conservatory has been put back til September as it would clash with lots of kids being here. However that suits me fine and it's something to look forward to :T

Been to dentist this morning :D, dropped DS back at school but I had an awful nights sleep due to the kids last night so today is going to be a very easy day. I might do a bit of ironing later as DD is settled on the sofa, she's under the weather so I think a sofa day is in order (what a shame :o)

With regards to hating your work.....well I had an attitude adjustment after watching a Youtube video of Zig Ziglar. I am not sure changing attitude is a cure for AL Lworks ills, but for me it's worked. Crickett sorry to hear you think you might be depressed but good for you for seeking some help xxx

Have a great day everyone :)

    Lunchtime ladies:T

I'm having roasted red peppers, chopped chilli, chives and quark wrapped in the thinnnest of thin egg omlettes - sitting on a huge plate of green stuff from the garden (picked in the rain but hey ho!!)

What are you having - and what do I do with the other 9 roasted peppers? (got a huge tin 2.5kg from Approved Foods). Think I might have to make up some pepper and tomato soup, then maybe freeze a few to whizz into pasta sauces or hummus.

Dreich and freezing here - looking out the window it looks like October ................. and feels like November :rotfl:

I've just had turkey, onion, red pepper cous cous, flavoured with a bit of tom puree and garlic (LO from last night's tea). 'twas delicious. Again :D

am awaiting the downpour here, probably when I am about to start the school run <rollseyes>
OK I really ought to carry on with the ironing now I've eaten.

Lentil soup with HM wholemeal bread with hazelnuts. Was lovely but in retrospect should have had less of it; or of the bread. However, I am running later so let's hope for the best.

............................ and a huge pot of teas cos it's perishing.

Still not heard back from the school - but I am definitely someones favourite Memorygirl today as I have texts from peeps who:

    1. Want to tell me I still haven't claimed my compensation for my recent car accident - nope

    2. Payday loans company telling me I am pre-aproved - double nope

    3. Dodgy sounding one offering to help me claim back my PPI - triple nope

    4. Very ahem "fruity" text from the joiner who works opposite basically telling me "brace yourself luv I'm on my way home". Now his Missus and and I have the same first name - and this was certainly a "fat-fingers" moment :rotfl:but I could feel the waves of embarrasment wafting across the road:D. All I can say is that she is very lucky girl :rotfl::rotfl:.

Obvioulsy I din't explain to DS1 why I was hysterically guffawing into my tea.

Thanks MG, that made me giggle.
Lunchtime here for me too and I have just had home made granary loaf with cheese, mustard and lettuce. Well not the whole loaf (although it has been known :p)
My lunch hour has been spent putting on the tea in the slow cooker. Tonight we are having Veggie Chilli with boiled rice, followed by homemade rice pudding. It never ceases to amaze me how inventive I become with the freezer and storecupboard ingredients when I have no cash.
At the moment MG I am looking a bit like your 71 and 3 nappies but I am 1.82 and a half bag of Wagg. Still it is only for a short time.

Sorry I am not keeping up much with the thread but life is taking over a little at the moment.

Fantasia, glad you are doing ok, lovely to hear how organised you are and it sounds like you are enjoying that new job.

Pouring with rain here. Is it really midsummers day?
KK you are missed over at Pippi's.......... told them you are ok.

Lucky, MG! Being pre-approved is good; the mistaken message is priceless!

I have been fuffing about today - a bit of writing is done but nothing comparaed to the mountain that awaits me. Back to taming Dragons and eating Frogs...and I have a little sweet one staring at me at my desk.
