Tricia - I'll have a go at the bag, but not promising :) you may want to ask someone who is a bit more experienced than me.

OK, so I'm back. Potential new boss's face lit up when I mentioned the Facebook group. By the time I got home she had added me as a friend (damn all those drunken photos!). It all seemed to go OK despite the disasters beforehand, but if I've got it, it's definitely due to my innovative use of social networks! :D
now that's why you need multiple FB accounts... And get rid of the drunken pics... :p well done (see, told you not to listen to miserable people :p)

Greenbee - What about mindfulness for your stress - I have a great book called 'The mindful way through depression and chronic unhappiness'. It's not a snappy happy title, but it does explain the 3 minute breathing space and the body scan (great for insomnia) and the CD is voiced by Jon Kabat Zin!! I'm sure one of the other MSE people who set herself up as a cleaning business was from your part of the world ... I'll see what I can find ... And hot water bottles are great - I have a microwave bear and a horse (both from the charity shop ;) ), saves the burn potential from the kettle!
thanks... I do know all this stuff, but need to get my act together... I've confirmed with my boss that i don't have to take sick leave for the week I was in hospital , as although I didn't take calls, I did work every day. That means I can take sick leave for further treatment if I need it (US company ... 4 weeks sick leave a year)
Cricket - A colleague of mine has a OH who is very high up in Forensic Accounting - I am going to an AGM with her next weekend and if I can ask any questions just let me know.
that's what linkedin is for :) get them connected

It's a shame we all live so far apart - otherwise we could have a bag making day Chez Moi!

Now that would have been a lovely idea. I've not long finished a mother's bag for carting round baby paraphenalia. I should really post a piccie - if I can remember how! - can anyone remind me?

I've also made several felted knitted bags.

    OK - I give up - I can't keep up......

I'm 3 pages behind & grabbing a quick catch up before toddling off again to potter.

I will catch up tomorrow proper though

Anyhow, I' ve seen an internal job 2 levels up & am really thinking of going for it - don't try, don't get

DO YOU SEE WHAT YOU LOT HAVE DONE TO ME????? I'M A GO GETTER NOW :eek:

But I've just seen a really interesting Crickett post - forensic accounting????? You might become my new BFF - Can I PM you with my predicament & see if you can advise me? I know it's shameless asking but even a point in the right direction would help - don't you agree MG?

*** shuffles off back to catching up***

PS - just to let you know - had hair done tonight & must do it more often - I feel great... DH might be in for a treat tonight :D

Thanks TMIF & Claire but....what if I get it, can I do it, will they laugh at my application, what if...what if

    Paranoia Clootie here :o

Sod it - if they're laughing at me they're leaving someone else alone & if I get it - well I'm good at steep learning curves & the money will be nice

So tomorrow I might not catch up as I have an app to fill out :j:j:j

Greenbee - OK, I've requested a link to my friend on LinkedIn (she has the settings locked down so I have to ask a connection to recommend me even though we know each other and do freelance work for the same company). Hoping that she is connected to her OH which will provide me with Forensic accounting links a plenty :)

CM - go girl, go!!! (I am happy to be respoonsible for you having 'ideas above your station', though no blame though :))

Bitsy - Do you realise what an influence you have on your 'little team' as you set them on the right course? One of the reasona I went into IT was 'cos the puter didn't answer back ... - You are brill and do not forget it!
