Awww shucks, blushes.
Painted workshop and OH has alid a fake floor over the pit, had a meeting with a roller shutter guy as the doors are proving to be a nightmare. Covered in paint and its all over my goggles (glasses) and I'm making a very unhealthy tea but just too much to do.

Once you give it a go Bitsy, you will be fine ... 'feel the force' and let the machine move the fabric, you just guide it where you want it to go!0

Hi all
Well I'm really enjoying reading The Secret, just a couple of chapters in so far, but it's really got me motivated! I've even roped OH in on my challenges (goals) for May.
Just popping off to catch up with the thread...

I want to learn and I have my mum for that but I lack the confidence to have a dabble on my own and keep waiting for my mum to have time etc is holding me back. There's lots of jargon that's like double dutch to me and even a simple pillowcase dress is making me break out in a sweat
I've looked at some tutorials on the web and they seem really complicated! Just out of my depth but desperate to jump in too
I suppose I am worried about messing up and wasting precious fabricStupid really.........
Just call me for a cuppa (and DD)I'll get your sewing and spreadsheets sorted. I am not a dressmaker but did a C&G soft furninshing course before I had DD so know some stuff (plus that I still want to dabble on patch work). Just tell me what is it you want to do and I'll bring some material from my stash.
I loved the house. It has its problems sadly so my heart is singing and my head is sending warnings. I am going to fill in the application tonight and BF is going to see it tomorrow. If he gives me green light the application is going to be put in and then everything crossed.
By the way it has mahoosive garden including huuuge vegetable patch. I might need to find my energy (and also the lost green finger) from somewhere. Oooh - unless I ask the landlord if I am allowed to "sublet it" to someone who can grow veggies there and then give me some for providing them the space....."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

I think this might be a question for the 'other side' but can anybody point me in the direction of setting up a customer database for dummies?
Thanks

Hi all, well done Lucielle and MG for coming up with that one! Great idea.
Happy Birthday Dr Daffs!
Can anyone give me the name of the frog book?
Watching Superscrimpers...don't like it but always watch for tips. Some wifey buys herself boys underwear. I am literally speechless...and presume no one ever sees it!!!!!!

Have a pile of very nasty tasting frogs and local authority has thrown a few huge toads my way today - frogs must be eaten first though.
Also was very proud of self for not reacting to one of those negative people (affectionatley known as hag queen b**ch under my breath) and managed to keep smiling at her as she ranted and whinged - was very professional and then stuck my tongue out at her when she had her back to me and was walking away - very therapeutic:p:p:p:p:p
Tomorrow is a 'me' day where I have less demands made by me from others and more time for frog eating so am going to make a big listy, have an early night tonight and start eating first thing:TMortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Good to hear so many doing well and moving forward. I had a moderately successful day - but am achieving mastery in frogology and frog eating (true to the spirit of the time I am combining the academic and the practical). Seriously considering writing a review article on Eat That Frog for my blog (and generally starting a resource category there).
Apart from that I talked to 'the man about a job' and the answer is ' very interesting and we shall see'. Thank you to all who sent wishes to the Universe or prayers to Deity of their choice.
Now some more writing - and if I manage to go to bed at 22.30 this will be a major frogology achievement.
