    Morning All

I have so many frogs to eat that I don't know where to start! Although I am on holiday today and tomorrow, I am going in to open postal votes for the election. It is extra money but annoying it fell on my days off. I have so much I should be doing at home (the frogs) that I think I will write a list and start ticking them off when I do things (if I do anything!)

Making a list sounds like the thing to do. Apparently (and tested) this is the way to select the biggest and ugliest frog - by enourmity of effect. If it is one that will have large positive effect when done or large negative effect if not done you do it. Items on the list can be marked ABCDE - A, B, C is the order of importance; the ones that are D can be delegated and the Es should be binned streight away.

I know, sounds weird but it works.

    Morning Matrix-ers :D

Need to take a leaf out of my son's book. He inquired was it time for breakfast. When I replied yes he shouted yipee :rotfl: Clearly even breakfast time is a cause for celebration.
So if my son can celebrate about breakfast why not seize every opportunity to celebrate myself. So I am inviting my mum and dad round to watch the wedding on Friday. We're having chicken sandwiches, quiche, lemon cupcakes (with choc ones for the kids) and Devon Cream tea, a mini high tea :D Really looking forward to it. I know it's terribly unpopular to be even a semi Royalist but I like Princes William and Harry so like my son why not have a mini party. All I see is people bemoaning it, complaining about it - what's not to like about a Royal Wedding? I get a comfy seat, can make a brew when I want, kids are entertained and don't have to be silent, can wear my comfy clothes, no gift required and best of all I don't have to make idle chit chat with members of my family who I can't stand the sight of. what's not to like about a Royal Wedding, far superior to a family do ;) :rotfl:

So on the list of jobs today is quiche making for Friday. I need to take a load of recycling (clothes and plastic stuff council won't take <rollseyes>) and bit more housework before school runs this afternoon. Really mustn't spend hours on MSE :o

sidney'smum - Hope your DS is OK xx

GroatieQ - Nice to see you posting and your post is VERY inspiring :) Good luck finding your little dream home xx

Fantasia - I know I posted on FB but belated Happy birthday to you x Glad to hear you're doing OK in the job. Marru is the spreadsheet Queen if you need any help.

Lovin' all the positivity :D Long may it continue.

DS1 and I have just finished a great morning of Scrabble (2 games) and digging / planting in the garden. Today he has planted Patty Pan Squash - don't ask me never cooked with them before but we will grow them and see.

Got some "office based" stuff to do later - so will pop off and get DS2 and the finish that off - outline of presentation for St A Uni and a rough out of the next Mind Map of a business book.

It can't make up its mind if its going to be nice or not today -do if it decides not then I have a pile of ironing and sewing that will need to be tackled ................. it's all go here in MG Manor:rotfl:

Happy Birthday, Cheery - all my best wishes for health, wealth and happiness are already sent. Just thought I'll let you know:rotfl:.

Is it coincidence, I wonder, that so many Matrix folk are born in April?

Now that's my idea of breakfast in bed :D

Happy Birthday Dr Daffs, have a fantastic day.

Sun is sort of out, it's not as windy (thankfully) so feels a little bit warmer. Been to Sainsbugs and the Pimms was £10 a bottle. Well it would be rude not to have a toast to the married couple so have bought it :D Reminds me of my own wedding day, we had Pimms as our pre reception drinks........happy days <wanders off down memory lane>
