groatie_queen wrote: »Another MIA calling in for a quick update. Since January I've been dealing with challenges which I can't go into, even on the other side. However, what I can share is that I'm downsizing. I love where I am, it's so peaceful and spacious but now I am looking to the future and a new phase in life. So I've been de-cluttering, lots of letting go, some of it has been hard, but overall it's liberating. What I'm now living with is the essence of what matters to me, and there is much less visual and metaphorical noise in my life.
I finally disposed of items I inherited from my mother, undealt with for 13 years. All done and dusted. I let go of old hobbies and old ideas and interests. I had to be honest with myself about what fits with who I am now, and what no longer fits, no matter how passionate I was about it in the past. And say goodbye, thank you for the jourmey and let go. We don't stay static, we must go with the flow and embrace change positively, allow new ways of being and space for new growth and new adventures.
I would like to stay in the same area, just with a smaller house and garden. Enough room for a few pots on a patio would be fine. I may need to rent for a while till the right home becomes available.
Sorry not to be a regular contributor but I'm also working and studying whilst all this has been going on... and I have needed much down time to deal with the other issues. Luckily I've been able to access good support which will be ongoing for as long as I need it. I know how fortunate I am to have that.
I'll be following the thread and cheering you all on from the sidelines.
All the best,

Morning Matrix! Back at the office today. Yeah. (I am trying to persuade myself to be excited by this. So far, not so good!!
)
I think it is going to be quiet today. At this time of the morning there are usually 10-12 of people in the office... and so far, i count 4 including me!!Good - it gives me a chance to eat some frogs, big time. Going to spend a little time (after getting my cup of tea!) getting my frogs in a row and then eating them one after the other. I have two days... and I want to make sure I have trounced that to do list by the end of Thursday!
Lots of love to you all, and have a positive and uplifting day if at all possible!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
Morning matrix peeps, don't often post but lurk. Decided I'd try and post a bit more with the new thread starting, so hope that's ok. OH and I have signed a lease for a workshop/showroom for his business, so today he's putting in a floor and after I and the DDs have been riding we are painting. Lots of good vibes needed for this new venture. Have a great day.

Morning all!
I have rather fallen off the wagon recently - too much to do, and then two short trips away, meant I just couldn't keep up and I've missed about 40 pages of the last thread. No real excuse though; I don't know how you all manage to get so much done and still keep up with everything on here.
Now found you again just in time and the fresh start and the spring have inspired me to try again.
Have a good day all!0 -
Can we come first?
L
Yeah course you can - but you had better explain to the rest of the ladies what we are on about - cos otherwise it's just sounding a little wierd - :rotfl:
Didn't want to post your suggestion up here as it came in by PM

Morning All
I have so many frogs to eat that I don't know where to start! Although I am on holiday today and tomorrow, I am going in to open postal votes for the election. It is extra money but annoying it fell on my days off. I have so much I should be doing at home (the frogs) that I think I will write a list and start ticking them off when I do things (if I do anything!)OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

Wow GQ - a really inspiring post
and I love MG's description "so much calm and centred energy"
This morning's Daily Motivator message
Most challenging
The more excuses you come up with to avoid doing it, the more important it is to get it done. After all, if it didn’t really matter, you wouldn’t bother with all the excuses.
Whatever you feel yourself resisting, is what you must find a way to do. Because when you can get past the resistance, what you’ll be able to create is great and fulfilling value.
It is much, much easier to give in to the excuses. But then all you’ll be left with is regret.
It is much more difficult to do those great and wonderful things you know you’re capable of doing. Yet from that difficulty comes the golden experience of the life you know you are meant to live.
Go ahead and feel the fear, feel the doubt, feel the frustration and discomfort and apprehension. Then, take all that energy and lovingly, joyfully, enthusiastically turn it around.
Step confidently forward in precisely the direction that is most challenging to you. Because in that same direction, you’ll also find what is most rewarding to you.
Choose to forego what is easy right now. And deliver yourself into the realm of what is truly great and fulfilling.
— Ralph Marston

Right I'm going into town for a lunch-time talk and a bit of a mooch so I need to get studying done (instead of not doing any this morning because I am going out)

Morning all,
GQ it is great to hear from you and, although it sounds like you have been through the mill, it does sound that you have an exciting new chapter to look forward to. What strength of character you have to have faced all of that change and be looking forward. You know that you can post here whenever you need a little boost so dont hide away too much. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0
