Just having lunch - HM veggie soup and a slice of HM bread. Very DFW:D

Spends for today £3.33 - on tomatoes, lettuce and onions. There's a noticeable trend that what we are buying are the "fresh bits" to make our storecupboard goodies into meals. I'm hoping that as the garden comes on-line these spends will decrease slightly.

    So tonight we are having

White Bean and Tuna salad - all from store
Ciabatta bread brushetta- HM from Flour in stores with tomato, onion, herbs, basalmic vinegar and olive oil.
Mixed salad - with green beans from freezer on top.
    Lemon and thyme salad dressing.

If that doesn't inspire me to much a huge Frog this afternoon I don't know what will.

Off I toddle - wielding an electric drill and hammer:rotfl:

  • crikey it's moving quickly in here already! :j

happy birthday and good luck with new job, and congrats MG on the overpayment, I love the saying about a £5 discount on a Rolls Royce, will definitely remember that one!

Did my first night of 15 mins heart singing last night and it was wonderful. Worked on a sheet music version of Tea for Two and a lead sheet (just chords and melody, you have to fill in the gaps ) of a song called Am I Blue which I didn't know but love to bits already. Took a few mins to get going but the heart was definitely in full voice before long :j

i am munching on some little but distinctly sour frogs at work (or asking the dragons nicely to be a bit quieter, thanks to Cheery for that lovely image) but feeling better for it.

Thanks again to Cheery for the "why are you doing/not doing it/what are the obstacles" post as this has helped me get stuck into some stuff at work I have been putting off :) am loving being a part of this already.

Not sure what I can offer to others so far other than relentless positivity so will keep that up for you all :D

    Happy birthday Fantasia :)

Did some interesting fieldwork today. Introduced myself to this guy I had already met :o oops then I asked him how long he had known his friend, who was actually his brother. Then I got given an honourary Ugandan surname and promptly forgot it. Not my finest hour.

Some people at the guest house went on a trip to one of the villages up North. They got given a goat and a chicken by the family they were staying with. Now the chicken is sitting here looking at me on the terrace. The goat is in the dogs' kennel so they don't eat it! Every day is somehow a new experience here...

Happy Birthday Fantasia and good luck, hope you'll do brilliantly :)

I've eaten a frog today, well more of a tadpole really, and have sent off for an eye test voucher at work. I've been putting it off for weeks as I don't want to admit to myself that I think I no longer have 20/20 vision. Silly goose! I'll probably not even need glasses, just longer arms, lol.

Ooohhh Happy Birthday to Fantasia :bdaycake:

Well my walk with ds counts as 45 mins of making your heart sing. A beautiful walk, lovely scenery, a beach, fresh air and a 19 year old running free on the beach just as crazy as a big lollopy dog being let off the lead :rotfl:.

This is really making me think MG - what makes my heart sing - not what do I do to make myself feel better if I'm low or what makes me high only to crash back down again but what actually makes my heart sing.

So far on my list I have:

Spending time with my family just chilling when everyone is relaxed
    Walking
    Travelling
    Bright colours

I love movement and continually changing visual images. When the sun shines, I love the clarity of all the different colours. This is a good challenge, this one.

    Happy Birthday Fantasia

Back from mums, she seems ok, taken lucozade up, so hopefully she will perk up. Had to get a taxi home cause she sent down lots of easter goodies down for the boys

Went to the surgery to get pain killers cause I have run out, the receptionist is getting the script sent to Asda for me save me going back up there.

So now I'm off out to get our shopping, as I was going to get it on the way home from mums.

Well my big Frog didn't get eaten - but it is looking very terminal:cool:

Got the timbers cut to length, found the right drill bit to drill the holes and found the right screws .............. but couldn't find the countersink bit. Wthout this the screws are just not long enough.

So plan B is to rummage through Dads shed on Thursday if I don't find it before then.

Mind you we got lots more digging done .. so silver linings and all that:D

DS1 has chosen some mini eggplant and globe courgettes toplant tonight - so just popping out to start them off.

Beans are just about to come out of the presure cooker - and ciabatta just abut to go in the oven, so dinner is on the way.

Don't I sound organised???? Actually just avoiding the ironing :rotfl:
