Whatever has happened, I get knocked down, but I always get back up again, and live to be happy again another day.
Was one of the first songs to go on my ipod! happy memories of long journeys home from 'just beaten' rugby matches go with it too!
Have munched steadily through seven small frogs tonight - 5 more to chew tomorrow but need an expert to advise first so not panicking - quite happy with progress so far:)Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Been out drinking coffee in the garden and watering all the seeds / seedlings that we have on the go before the sun gets up (they are all in a seed nursery where they get sun for a couple of hours late afternoon)
After DS2 was put to bed, DS1 and I went out and planted 5 of our Easy Water containers - the plan is to use them for "thirsty" plants like tomatoes and courgettes n stuff - but for just now we have planted them up with a sprinkling of various salad leaves to give us our first pickings whilst we still work on the garden.
We have
BBC Dig in - mixed leaves
Spicy Mixed leaves
Spinach
Rocket
Cut Come again salad bowl.
I noticed that our chard is thriving - so time to start eating that. Its lovely in ribolitina soup, wilted in garlic and live oil, or used as a stuffing for raviolli - as well as a green veg/ salad leaf.
So my "Frog" today is to find a way of screwing together the last of my raised beds (Dad promised to do this with me last year ..... but you know) Its difficult to do on my own, but I figure DS1 might be big enough to hold the wood this year.
If I can do that then I will have another 45 sq ft modules to plant up - and the garden will look a lot less like Steptoes Yard :rotfl:. I'm hoping it will then inspire him to give me a wee hand moving all the soil for my terraces.
So a day of hard labour in store - but the seedlings are growing daily and they need a home in the near future so I will have to get a wiggle on.
Little Frog is finding the car insurance documents so that I can tax the car before the Bank Holiday.
Littlest frog - watching the "how to wallpaper" tutorial on Youtube in the hope that it will look less scarey.
Off to get DS2 dressed for playgroup

I love it on here.........
I am loving the garden talk. I transplanted all my little strawberry seedlings into individual 3 inch pots yesterday and they seem to like it. Overnight they seem to have doubled in size. At this rate I will be overun wirh strawberries so good job we love them.
My potato plants are growing well and I keep covering them with soil as per instructions. What happens when they get too tall - I have visions of having a mountain of soil in the garden. Does anyone know if there is a point when I just let them grow through?
There is just so much to learn
Just realised the English Heritage cards we got through Tesco points lat year run out soon, so going to go to Bolsover castle today to make the most of "free" days out.
Have a good day everyone0 -
Morning everyone!
Couple of thank-yous...Kittikins for The Secret, and also to Scottishlass for the offer of the PDF, which I now have
I'm having a quiet coffee before setting out to have my ugliest frog dealt with - the dentist . Got to have a rather large filling this morning as the old one has cracked. But, on the bright side, at least it's happened now and not when I'm on holidays in the summer.
Then from there straight to work...another frog :rotfl:. At least is only three (or 2 1/2!) days this week and another short week next week...yay!
I've been inspired by the gardening talk too, so am going to look into some easy salad veg to grow, probably salad leaves and raddishes. Sounds like an interesting salad eh?
Catch up later.

Morning Matrix
Fantasia - is today the first day of your new job???
Well dd back to school today - 3 days this week; 2 days next week and then GCSE study leave.
Have decided that today, tomorrow and Thursday are going to be gentle days, eating lots of small domestic frogs one-at-a-time. From Friday, I have 6 days of eating large slimy toads that are not of my choosing but I shall tackle them with calm and resolution and they shall soon be over :rotfl:. Decorating frog is on hold till a week on Thursday at the earliest. Working at developing patience and a positive marathon state of mind - LF RF LF RF........0 -
Good morning
Got a few bits to do today, need to pop up to mum with some stuff, she has been ill since Sat eve with the stomach bug that is going around, I haven't been able to go up there because no public transport running over the easter hols. and it would have cost £24 in a taxi
Got a bit of tidying to do this morning and some shopping forgot to buy milk yesterday.Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
Morning Matrix!
I have another day off today - the university where I work is closed for an extra day after Easter - so I am making the most of it. I have a few little jobs to do in the house, but I am very aware that I am at work tomorrow and Thursday and I want to make sure I do not overdo things too much today to keep the energy levels high for eating the frogs at work.
Hope everyone has a lovely day today. Take care all of you."A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
Yes officially starting this afternoon, (was there unofficially Sat to get the gist). So its all good. Good luck to everyone with frogs today. I;m tackling another one now, it tastes vile, but will sweeten when its been eaten lol x0

Oops!!! Got sidetracked from my "Frog"
In my defence I spend a lovely hour teaching DS1 how to play Scrabble which I am sure will stand him in great stead in his future
Much easier to do this when DS2 is at playgroup BTW - as he keeps wanting to "help".
I have 40 minutes before picked up the wee sprite - so I am going to do my digging and get to the raised beds when we get back.
Must remember to bank my cheque from last Friday - then I can pay £80 off the mortgage. :j. I know it's "like a £5 discount on a Rolls Royce" but makes me feel fabulous.

Good luck for this afternoon Fantasia.
£80 op on a mortgage is great MG :j.
Just about to go for a walk with ds. Am going to try to do as much with him as I can over next couple of days as from Friday it will be the little sister prom / end of year / birthday live show all the way. Don't know about you guys but I find having a 19 (admittedly with Aspergers) & 16 year old sooooo stressful. When they were babes it was so easy compared to this.
Right ho - a walk it is. Later peeps.0
