Gosh, we're a sorry bunch this afternoon! Is it the air pressure or something?? Can we have a collective round of singing or something to cheer us up?? I'll start...

:j :j :j "feel the air, see the geese, wait for the tea, la la la"

(i'm just making that up, by the way, feel free to add to it...)

    :D

    I like this song... err...

"Eat the peas, watch the bees..."

There are only nine green hand grenades on the wall. I have shoved one of them down the throat of the person who has been hacking me off today something chronic.

Note to self... shoving junk food down my throat this evening is not going to help. Creating a Mii with an uncanny resemblance to the person who is annoying me and then beating the crud out of them in boxing on the Wii might just soothe my nerves. Just.

I have a day full of meetings tomorrow (along with squeezing in some time to make sure that I can do all the corrections that I need to make on a 10 page document for a silly little piece of work that has taken me all day to cost). There are days when I loathe the work I do. Today is one of those days.

Crickett - Like TMIF says can't you go home?? xx

I wish I could. No. Unfortunately not. The tender has a very short timescale. Like, it has to be agreed tomorrow and signed by two different committees by the close of play. And then it needs to be sent to the middle of the Indian Ocean by courier. Shame that courier couldn't be me! :p

Touch your knees, oooh look cheese....." :D

Crickett and Tmif - when I last worked in admin many moons ago, I had a Titanic and there was this certain person who spent the majority of the week on the bow of the ship. Don't think she ever made it to the stern of the ship by Friday when without fail the ship went down :D.

Everybody sing now... my heart will go oooonnnnnn

Think I've been breathing in too much gloss :o, two more mins then it's time to attack the final door :T

Does singing help against sickness? Is it worth the test? Well at least I am not stuck at Heathrow waiting for a plane and then getting to a place where there is no daylight (when there should be).

    Dobe-dobe-dobe do....

Love the singing - can I join in with ds's favourite humpty dumpty sat on the loo, h dumpty did a big poo etc etc - is his fav but not his nursery teacher's fav:rotfl:Makes me laugh everytime he sings it like a little choirboy with angelic face.

Feeling still bleurgh but now cos bessy mate took me out for lunch and I have a food baby (mostly banoffee pie baby) struggling to stay tucked safely under the waistband of my jeans! Am sleepily much happier and have no need to cook any tea as no room to eat it!

MG has also made me think more about my crocked back so I have just looked up chiropractors too as mine has been ouchy for about 6 weeks now and keeps coming and going and I am rubbish with painkillers. Hopefully will squeeze in a visit sometime next week.

Just done 30 minutes exercise at home (and yes, boxing featured highly! :)) and... I weighed I have lost... 3 pounds in one week. Yay me! Going to go and change my siggy now... and then go and cook tea. Meatballs and gnocchi tonight I think. Its quick and filling and fills the "i want carbs" yearn I have due to the crappy day. One day I will crack the headology. One day! :D

Okay.... totally lost the will to live with this costing I am supposed to be doing. Currently compiling a hit list of people who are going to be first up against the wall come the revolution. . :(

Oh please can we all play????????????:j:j

I nominate (in no particular order)

    1. My PE teacher in High School who decided that afer 6 years of being unable to catch a sodding ball I was just lazy - nopy just dyspraxic :D

    2. The record producer from the 80's who thought he was God's gift and took advantage of a Mate - and how I was able to prove he was anything but well endowed (itsy bitsy teeny weenie :rotfl:). Photos are still sashed in a safe place.

    3. My Auntie - who still thinks I should go and get a "proper" job.

    4. Erm - The Big Horse Bank - naturally :rotfl::rotfl:

I hope the day ends better for you hon.

    Keep on keeping on.
