We're (temporarily) back to a 6,000 mile separation, so I'm selling his stuff while he can't stop me. And enjoying BB so fast that I can't make a cup of tea whilst a page downloads :D

OK, big frog eaten: it has taken me up til now to do my CV and cover letter for the job I'm applying for (it looks AMAZING, though: all company colour co-ordinated and a copy of the website edited to my details for the cover letter). The irony is, I'm not even that keen on the job and the pay has been reduced since they initially advertised it - and that is REALLY annoying me - but a friend of a friend is supposed to be putting a word in so I feel kind of obliged to apply.

Argh! Mentioned one person's name on the CV and think I should have asked for permission first. Double argh!

Better get on to munching some frogs legs or some other small frog bits for now.

Yesterdays food. Cereal and berries, more cereal (not good) and hm shepherds pie and lots of veggies. And way too much coffee,,,,,,,,,,

Actually making a roast dinner today to use something ut of the freezer and to try an use up some more veg so wil plan everything else around that.

Well done Pickle, keep going, you WILL get there! Anyway now the CV is 'done, it will be far easier to tweak for other opporunities that come your way :)

Can I ask are other people getting automatically logged out every time they post? It has been happening all morning to me and I am wondering if there is a setting I should have set or if I have upset MSE Towers in some way???

(If this is happening to you, it is possible to save what you have written by highlighting it all (via ctrl and a) and copying (ctrl and c).Then when you are logged back in you can paste (via ctrl and v). If you forget, you should be able to go back a page using the back button on your browser and then do the highlight/copy. Saves typing anyway!)

Happy Sunday y'all - has rained here overnight so plants have had a drink. Gonna plant up some more and do some clearing of the porch so the tub of sweetpeas doesn't have to go thro' the lounge on its way to the back garden!!! :D I may even get lunch bought for me later and then there is the footie (c'mon the seasiders :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

Suffering this morning - back is aching................. but my upstairs quarter of the house is almost clear:T And downstairs is looking pretty good for achange too.

In the words of this song :

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmBxVfQTuvI

"What a difference a Day Makes"

Had a cuppa in the "being softly rained upon" garden removing the coke bottle cloches on the parsnips and bok-choi - they are looking very healthy, especially now that I have lobbed 7 snails over the wall. In fact I have only lost one parsnip seedling. The leeks are looking - well "rampant"

So I might have a sort through of the seeds today and come up with my "scaled back" garden plan - I have also got some flowers to sort out so that could be fun.

As for boudoir today - I was thinking a good hoover and mop of the floor and slow paint around with white eggshell on the woodwork. After that I should be a good Mummy and fill up the snack boxes (although I did make DS2 "Mickey Mouse" pancake for breakfast so I am still partly a good Mummy:D)

Off to make some "proper" coffee" as a Sunday treat as the sun is coming out and I could sneak some more time in the garden befre starting.

Pottering some more - need to get sleepover girls back to their own parents, then church, then maybe park depending on dark storm clouds!

Need to sit down with a big brew and plan the next two weeks (including food) and then start wellying my way through.

Well, the best laid plans and all that...................

It is wet, wild and windy here in West Wales unfortunately so everything I had planned for today will have to change as it was all outdoors kind of stuff. Moo is currently rolling around the floor trying to get my attention to take him out so off I go to the forest.

Love that song MG. Take it easy though little at a time and lots of breaks.

    have a good one everybody.

    Ooooo - lovely

Standing by the open door watching the rain come down through the sunshine onto a neatly planted garden.

Going to have to dive in and out avoiding the showers today to do the planting out - the courgettes are beginning to inch their way from the windowsill towards my bed so they need to go out, out, out.

Plucking up the courage to start the ironing, then mealplan, then upstairs..................... although I feel the siren call of knitting socks and a musical calling for this afternoon.

Does anyone know if I can use "weed fleece" as a liner for some hanging baskets? Its all I have and I think some cherry toms would be ok in hanging baskets IYSWIM.

    Good morning.

I'ts sunny and raining here too, a very late night here last night, (my friends little boy was beaten up, by a gang of boys yesterday) So whilst her partner was at the hospital with her boy , I stayed with my friend until 11.30 then her mum and dad came over.

DH has a day off today, so he's cleaned and is cooking a breakfast/lunch type meal then we will have a beef dinner later.

My mate wanted to do something to occupy her, we sat and cut squares of material for a quilt.
