My two friends who were made redundant a few months ago got new jobs together yesterday so one of them is cooking curry and bringing it to mine (my house is always tidy!) tonight and we'll be having a drink or three to celebrate.

    Have good days all XXX

Souk, it was good to hear about the freezer; but friends getting jobs is what I call really good news. Celebrate and anjoy.

Thanks FW, not sounding as excited about this as I should because these jobs were kind of done deals, the company went to their old empliyers and I KNEW they would get them but yesterday was just my confirmation. In the same way as I KNOW I'll get another job...and that I'll love my freezer! These boys have been so good to me and one of them bought me flowers yesterday, the same one who cooked for me the night he was made redundant as I was at Mums and she was in a bad way and he knew I wouldn't have anything in. There's not many of him to the pound, I can tell you X

    Good afternoon everyone

Thrifty - your story really touched me. I have read many of your posts and you always come across as a lovely warm person. Sending you love.

I have been reading but not posting this week as I'm trying to get the decorating and cleaning done by the end of the weekend. Off to do some more painting soon after spending the morning mending the toilet, but it cost nothing so :j:j:j. My DH wanted to call a plumber :mad::eek::eek:. I showed him (insert smug smiley).

    Have a lovely weekend all.

HA well done Parsniphead. Showing how you can tackle stuff is always a {smug smiley} feeling!

Souk, what a gem of a friend. The kind of friend that you really can rely on. I too know that you will get a job it is a foregone conclusion. After all, they are looking to take you on now in some places before you are ready, just imagine what is round the corner. Oh I feel excited for you.

Claire that was lovely to give the lads a cuppa even though they woke you early.

    Right back to my lists

((((((((((matrix folk)))))))))))))) as cherisong said, so many beautiful strong women here xxxx

Today I am mostly eating a reduced-to-50p easter egg, and lounging around :rotfl: :rotfl: Didn't go to bed til 4.30am , up at 10, and tonight is going to be another VERY late one, so I need some rest! :T (that's my story and I'm sticking to it :D)

OMG OMG OMG, do you all realise how much I rely on your positive vibes, and support, and everything the Matrix stands for.

Thrifty, thank you for your honest, no holds barred post. Much love double right back atcha. I cannot believe how many people related to what I posted about, and to all who supported me, thank you a million times. I cannot stress enough how much it has meant.

The job I took recently was at the horrible place I worked before, doing half admin and half on the phones, blah (doh). I hate it (the on the phone part) and I'm unfortunately even better at it than I was before. But today I got offered another job, in the place I used to work, local shop. More hours (was there for 5 years). And I've decided to take it, slightlymore hours (25) rather than the 18.8 I'm doing now. But will still be able to be around for my son who is living with schizophrenia and also for the dogs, and its weekly paid, and OMG the relief is overwhelming. I'm taking the offer, because it gets me out of that awful other place and I start on Monday.

Oh, other half read my letter and apparently didnt realise how badly I was affected, or that he was being distant, but promises that things will change, and he will support me, apparently there was something similar in family history for him that opened up some bad memories. I didn't push him but he will tell me when the time is right.

I just cant tell you how relieved I am, but I'm positive that the Matrix and positive vibes have helped this along, so thank you to everybody. This entity that had been created is such a powerful force for good, its unbelievable. I'm so thankful to be a part and for all the 'friends' I have here. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Please send some positive vibes this way so that I can get my CV in (rather late, I must admit) for a new job, and more importantly for the simply  amount of homework I have to get done between now and Wednesday. I simply can't  enough about how much there is (although it's all my own fault, so I can't whinge too much, but I'll have a little go anyway! ;)).

Glad to see Fantasia is looking more chipper. Best of luck with your weekends, guyettes! :)

Hey peeps! quick on from me.

Fantasia Woo hoo on being offered the other job :D

Inapickle - Lots of positive vibes for you and your CV and keep chipping away at your homework :)

Daisy the cat is still in intensive care, no op yet to wire her broken jaw, my parents popped down to see her and she kept trying to lift her head when my dad was stroking and talking to her (she's "his" cat IYSWIM) so I am taking all this as a positive step, slow improvement but improvement at any rate :D Been at a kids party and then the park for the most part of today, not done ANYTHING productive today eek! Having our hair cuts in about half an hour so might as well write off the while day :o

Hope you're all having a wonderful Saturday :)
