((((((((((daisy and bitsy's mum)))))))))))
Thanks EH, sadly it's FAR too big a job to just systematically tidy as I go along, would take weeks and weeks and poor fella wants his drill back!0 -
Am feeling very humble right now, for all the support you have shown me here. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everybody.
With regard to OH, I have written him a letter explaining as best I can, he knows that I love him, I am only looking for him to give me a little support, a hug, and just to tell me things will work themselves out.
MG it would be an honour to be an honorary Aunty to your lovely wee lads, and I soooooo appreciate your insightful post ((((((hugs))))) for you and the littlies.
So decision made, this hasn't killed me, so it can only serve to make me stronger. I've gotten through worse and I WILL get through this also.
Thank you again everyone, you all rock, we rock, the Matrix rocks and its onwards and upwards from here on in. Fake it till I make it yeah?????? xxxxxxxxx0 -
Afternoon everyone...
Have had a lovely lunch of ham and cheese rolls with mustard and low fat mayo and herby salad, and some on the vine cherry tomatoes. And a nectarine. And an apple. What?!! I'm hungry!!Also drunk 2 pints of very weak lemony squash and water. About to have my third pint of the same.
On the portfolio side of things, it is going... but going slowly. This last section is being a bit of a swine. But I am not giving up and I shall continue with it until the bitter end! Right... off to make my drinkie poos, and then right back to it. See ya before I leave tonight!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -

Then I will spend as much of the weekend calmly looking for it (it's a large drill, so it's not going to have fallen down the back of a radiator! :rotfl:), and if I can't find it by Sunday night, I will offer to buy a new one. Not ideal, no, but will teach us a lesson!
HAve you every tried the trick of going into a room and looking for the "Pink Fairy Elelphant" - somehow when you are NOT looking for what you are looking for you seem to find it :rotfl:

Cheery - try this trick. Sit down, breath calmly, relax, ask youself where the drill is, you might be able to see/know it. The more relaxed you are the better results. I have even found things that other people have lost this way i.e. I had no way of knowing where they were. Oh and thank you for the vegan link. I don't think I am going to be vegetarian never mind vegan but would like most my meals to be that way. Then I could source the little meat that I do eat ethically and not worry about the cost.
Bitsy - So sorry to hear that, I have sent you PM"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

I pretend that I have the item in my hand and I go and put it "somewhere safe/where I'll be able to find it..........:o0

Whooooppppee!
Sixth section, first draft, completed!
Okay... next on the agenda is the redraft of the workplace log for this place, and the continuing drafting of the workplace logs for my other places of work! Yay me!!
I still have lots of stuff that I need to do, but I do feel like it is achievable to finish!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
Go Crickett!!!!!!!
Just been asked to propose an additional piece of work for local Uni. I have drafted a Mind Map, scanned it and sent him the PDF before we had even finished talking.
Sometimes I like technology - see - LOL

Well, I have nothing constructive to say at all, but will try
MG - you fair made me cry. How brave to say that out loud to a bunch of strangers but more so to recognise the cycle and put a stop to it.
KK - you also made me cry. How awful that you were not believed, I hope that you eventually got help. I hope that you are now able to cope with things and do not let it affect your life in a negative way anymore
Bitsy sending lots of wishes to Daisy and hoping that your Mum is ok too.
Claire - great news on the aprons and even better news on the boiler fund. Keep it up
Crickett - keep going, not long now and we will be having another Matrix celebration
To all the ideas to find the drill - I love them all, I am now picturing a pink elephant (in a tutu) dancing around Cheery who is sitting on the floor in the cellar and shouting "Its in the larder"!!!!!!!! Cheery - you didnt bury it in the compost bin when you moved it did you ?Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0
