We have just done four trips with the dreaded RA , the efficiency of the operation could not be faulted all flights were on time and no hassle , except for the staff checking the size of cabin bags. It is said they are on a bonus for every traveler whose travel bag they can reject (€40 for transfer into hold). One at Gatwick made our Granddaughter put her bag through the gauge frame twice because he did not believe it fitted the first time , we had words. You scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian! I’ll tickle your catastrophe (Henry IV part 2)0

Forgot to mention the American family in front of us at check in. Over here on holiday so did not have facility to print out on line their boarding passes , got stung €160 for that :eek:You scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian! I’ll tickle your catastrophe (Henry IV part 2)0

You 'dread' them, but you chose to take four flights with them? :rotfl:anotherbaldrick wrote: »Forgot to mention the American family in front of us at check in. Over here on holiday so did not have facility to print out on line their boarding passes , got stung €160 for that
What a terrible injustice, because of course in the UK we don't have internet facilities (and god forbid, printers), do we?Gone ... or have I?0 -

It was to Eire and Air fungus are no bottle .What a terrible injustice, because of course in the UK we don't have internet facilities (and god forbid, printers), do we?
Not when you are visiting an unfamiliar country and decide to take a domestic flight. Do you carry a printer in your luggage ?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:You scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian! I’ll tickle your catastrophe (Henry IV part 2)0 -

Do you need someone to spoonfeed you? The American family would have stayed in a hotel. Guess what? Hotels have printers! So do libraries and internet cafes, just as they do in the US!
I can't provide a response to your first sentence because it makes no sense.Gone ... or have I?0 -

There is only one airline flies into Kerry International work out what is, if you can.
My estimation was that they had recently flown in from the States and had not been warned of the tricks of RA. Coming from a service orientated society they probably were a sucker for such shenanigans. You scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian! I’ll tickle your catastrophe (Henry IV part 2)0 -

That's not true is it, Aer Arann fly there too. I can guess that Ryanair were more convenient for you, but certainly not the only airline that fly there, plus Shannon and Cork airports are only an hour away, so even more options.
Low cost airlines originated in the US. Online checkin is the norm there both for domestic and international flights.
If you are going to try to slate an organisation, at least check your facts first! :rotfl:Gone ... or have I?0 -

Have you seen the Aer Arann planes, Obviously not or you would not have considered them.

So your statement of 'There is only one airline flies into Kerry International work out what is, if you can' is correct? You're contradicting yourself now!
Aer Arann do not have a bad safety record at all.
I'm guessing you don't travel a great deal?Gone ... or have I?0 -
