  • Hi there - any room for me?!

It's fine if you've run out of colours for the graph, I don't need you to add me but I'd love to have some moral support while I'm battling with my weight.

I'm currently 16st 8lbs as at my weigh in last sunday - only weigh once a week. 2 years ago I was 23 stone. I lost 6 stone in 2005 and have lost another 2 1/2 stone since the end of November (admittedly, 1 stone of that was a stone I'd put back on!) I'm just over 5'8" tall.

I've done it by following a particular programme which I'm more than happy to tell you about but I don't want people to think I'm here to advertise it because I'm not.

Anyway, I'm staying with this til at least the end of March and then reviewing it so I'd love to join in the support.

Hi Cate, course you can join...only I lost the graph with all our details on (although luckily I had a written copy of mine in my diary)

Maybe we can become Lard Free Wannabees?
  • Anyway, there's finally another low to report on my own lardloss adventure. 19 stone 8 this morning.

Actually noticed my love handles have gone now. Rock climbing course looms in about three weeks so there's a decreasing amount of lard to haul up the wall (or to hit the floor when the rope snaps)

  • I went for my weigh in on Sunday evening - couldn't make my normal time of first thing sunday morning - and have put on 1 1/2 lbs since Wednesday!!!! Suspect it's because I'm in the middle of moving house so have been madly shifting furniture and boxes and seem to be retaining water. Also been popping painkillers like there's no tomorrow because of bad back due to said house move!!! Grrr.

Still, trying to remain positive - this time 2 years ago I was nearly 23 stone. And this time 3 months ago I was over 19 stone. Now down to 16 1/2 stone. Had to go and buy new jeans because all mine keep falling down!

Emmzi, if you're seriously looking into the Cambridge diet, I'd like to tell you some more about my experience if you're interested. PM me if you like.
