Did I say that at all?Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
And all of this too-ing and fro-ing assists the OP is what way?
Answers on a postcard. :wall:My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

It's an emotive issue on here obviously, and I can see why as I have 3 cars in the household and pay a fortune on insurance!
But some on here are very judgmental and have the attitude that people who don't fit with their morals don't deserve advice, that really is not what this site is about, and Martin Lewis has stated that this site is for all no matter the circumstances, it would be a lot easier if people kept their opinions to themselves at times and just offer advice!Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. 2 speeding offences, and now uninsured, depending on the judge he may take away her license regardless of circumstances, 1. because she has shown no regard to speed limits and laws and 2. no regard to own insurance cover and saftey of her husband and other road users. WE ALL HAVE TO HAVE INSURANCE insurers are not bad barstuards and if she's in financial difficulty may be able to help with keeping her insurance cover going by way of other means, like pay by bank giro credit via a letter through the post office.
we all have problems and some are affected more than others over debt, ive had my fair share of depression lately, but to ignor letters was a simple concious choice she made.
perhaps going to citizens advice with her debt, they can help in a big way and are undervalued for their expertise.
im sorry, but depending on the judge on the day, and i say from experience your friend faces a ban and a fine. (i was banned with no previous motoring offence at all and a clean license judge made an example out of me 6 years ago and things are getting tighter motoring offences such as this)
she is quite luckey they didnt take her car off her there and then and let her walk home, a simpothetic officer give her the benefit of the doubt knowing what he knew about her insurance situation as i.e not covered to drive any vehicle.0 -

It maybe helps the OP realise that driving without insurance can be a serious matter?
I must also admit to being concerned about the OP's pal's "depressive stage," - Frankly, any episode of mental illness that is serious enough to have them butt-out of normal life for six months needs to be investigated medically and maybe reported to any insurer as it may seriously impair their ability to drive!
And yes, I do know what it is to be depressed and face debts - My own experience began when I lost a job whilst recovering from being hit by an uninsured driver. :mad:0 -
Thank you for all your replies and V is most grateful.
She has told me about her previous convictions. In fact it started out as just a minor speeding offence, she was doing 34mph in a 30 limit in town. To cut a long story short, bearing in mind her depressed state at the time, she buried her head in the sand and filed the paperwork for the fine and when the court summons came through because she hadnt paid it she totally panicked and did not attend the court. So thats how she ended up with a higher conviction code and 6 points instead of 3 points and an SP30.
Before anyone starts slating her, I can tell you that previous to this she had a clean driving licence for over 30yrs and is one of the most law abiding people I know. This out of character behaviour was purely down to depression and as a sufferer myself I can fully understand how badly it can affect a person. Luckily she is having treatment for it now and is on the road to recovery.
She has been able to obtain insurance cover this weekend, though not with the previous insurer. She has to face going into the police station and admitting that she didnt have any cover at the time the police pulled her over, although at that time she was certain that she did. I guess she wont be offered a fixed penalty anyway will she if it brings her up to 12pts under the totting up procedure. Does she just wait now to hear about a court date and how long will that take roughly?
Thank you from me also for the people who have posted helpful replies.0 -
