    lots of things including administrator?

I would assume so. Should I take the ubuntu cd out and try again as admin etc on the windows? Ubuntu won't work anyways. Giving me an error :( will post up a picture of that in a min.

Will log back into windows. Sorry.

You need to enable the Administrator account. ;)
  • Oh man. I do that how? And how do I get it to load properly now? Remove the windows disc?

Pop the Recovery disc in as before and take yourself to Command Prompt.

Click on it and enter this command: net user administrator /active:yes

Keep the spaces as they are in my post
  • Now that i load driver I don't get command prompt option (whether I login ad administrator or myself) on the system recovery screen :( (there is a drop down for logins here before you get to the system recovery options) think I took a pic of it before. Should I not load the drivers?

So when you choose F8, is Administrator an option?

    Quite a nasty virus.
  • I can't chose F8 now. It boots up into the recovery. I got the command box but it says its for I drive Acer ( which is the HD I plugged in for drivers) and its still x: in the prompt. Gonna type that stuff to enable admin account anyway. Then see what happens.
