He has just been screaming at me for apparently no real reason, so i have seen the health visitor, bought him some colic medicine, and been doing lots of reading on what might be causing it. I have gone for feeding him every time he crys, which has appeared to work today as he seems a completely different child.
not suggesting you don't bathe or anything like that.. but.. i did read once about a lady who had a baby, then about 2 weeks after the birth, all the girls from work wanted to come round to see him, so she dressed to the nines.. and every time baby was held by her, screamed his head off. seemed he didn't like her choice in perfume (which she hadn't worn since the birth). some smells can linger.. i just wonder if it could be something like that?

oooh yes kethry - forgot about perfume. I stopped wearing it completely when I was breast feeding as I thought it was unfair to subject baby TM's to it - only just started wearing it again - you do get out of the habit
Then again - only just started wearing earrings again - cos little hands don't pull at jewellery like they used to :rotfl:0 -
Well I made my stew/casserole which was a success, corned beef hash which DP asked 'Is there some more?' and cooked him a steak which he said was done perfect. I'm over the chuffing moon and he's now a convert from being a junk food junky. He's not moaned about me cooking again and said he won't.. Loads to go in freezer now, best slow down with this bulk cooking lark as my freezer is only small.
*Edit he's just phoned and asked me to keep some of the corned beef one out for his lunch tomorrow as he really liked it :T think I have his seal of approval on that one.
I've now made flapjack aswell, well it's in the oven cooking now, didn't have brown sugar so used caster so hope it's still ok.
kethry my sons still like that now at 7, he doesn't like strong perfumes etc, as a baby would scream if someone smelt strongly. You could be right.
kyle my friends kids keep raiding his fridge, they get past every child lock he's used so he's padlocked it, I couldn't believe it.One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
need to buy a sling. Will make time to popto shops over the weekend.
someone who held him did have strong perfume, but i don't tend to wear it. It was that strong i could smell it on him when i got him back, so i'll also watch out for that.
Thanks for the tips. This is why i love OS.

Evening all,
Happy birthday Thriftlady:bdaycake:
Sat here attempting to write the christmas cards but not doing very well, keep getting diverted:rolleyes:
Not had a very good week as both Iceletts have been off school, DD with cold and DS with ear infection, oh the joys of parenthood.
Do you think if I leave the cards out santa's little helpers will write them for me? Think I might leave them out & see.
Goodnight, sleep tight
Ice
