It is covered with a tea towel and I hope that it is rising!
Nice and quiet for the next hour so making the most of it.
Waiting for a reply to my offer of an automatic bed on Freecycle and need to post a book I have sold on Amazon."This site is addictive!"

Afternoon All - hope we are well
Came home to find DLB's cat sitting on my gate. He wouldn't move so had to open gate slowly (making sure he doesnt fall off) just to get round the back of my house. Then fed him cos he was crying like a baby. Ad full sachet of meat then 1/2 bowl of dried. Bless him he's lovely. Will send the bill round soon DLB...lol
Work was - erm - OK. Glad Ive finished now for the weekend. They all ordered pizze for their lunch, and didn't ask me (I wouldn't have had any anyway - but I thought they could have had the courtesy and asked) The girld did a bit more work than usual, only cos the manager was about, but she was still browsing internet for car/insurance/number plates - etc. Oh I give up! I only speak when Im spoken too now. Just keep my head down and do whats expected off me. Otherwise - I'd probably get the sack for moaning and voicing my opinions.
WM and dryer on. Waiting for OH to finish work so we can nip to the vets and get flea/worm stuff, at least thats out of the way for another 3 months,
Then a trip to Ikea.
Then I'll be glued in front of the box for the Finale of IM A CELEB ! Roll on May time next year for Big Brother - lol

Hello everyone.
Not been having a good week. We went to visit the in-laws last weekend, and ever since, i've been having major problems with the baby. He has just been screaming at me for apparently no real reason, so i have seen the health visitor, bought him some colic medicine, and been doing lots of reading on what might be causing it. I have gone for feeding him every time he crys, which has appeared to work today as he seems a completely different child. Doesn't help that DH has been working all hours, so OS has gone to the dogs. No cooking, or very basic, plus takeaways. Plus, the house feels like a tip. It has been making me very depressed.
Tried to go xmas shopping on tuesday, managed 2 shops, and then had to abandon. I suppose i should be grateful some shopping got done.
I'm supposed to be having a friend visit in a bit from work. Was supposed to have the headmaster come to see me on tuesday and he just didn't turn up. No phone call or anything.
I suppose i should have used today for some cleaning, but i have instead caught up here, emailed some friends and basically had a sofa day. I guess thats to make up for all the hours spent pacing on the floor to calm baby.
happy birthday thriftlady.
hugs to kyle cos i know exactly how you feel today.
hopefully it won't be another week before i get back.

payday :j been to asda, was going to buy a poinsettia but decided against it, the leaves usually drop
thought my computer had had it as the screen was yellow and i couldnt get on the internet but i moved the wireless thing so its okay now, must get kyle to do me a xmas avatar too
not too sure what tea will taste like as i just plonked a chicken breast in some chopped tomatoes and thin sliced carrot with half a veg stock cube and let it simmer, i am still trying to keep low fat
big hug to kyle, i did do your hoovering and ironing yesterday
love to all xx0 -
Michelle - have you got a baby cling/carrier of some description? I found with DS1 that when he went through a colicky phase or just wouldn't settle, then it was invaluable and also freed up both hands to do other things. The fact they are pressed up against you as well as upright makes them feel secure and helps with any trapped wind. If you haven't got one - beg, steal or borrow one - but make sure it's easy to use, cos the cheap ones are such a pain you'll never use it again. I had a Baby Bjorn carrier - expensive but worth it's weight in gold. Sold it on ebay so take a look there.
((hugs)) to you and to kyle ((hugs))0 -
Michelle completely agree with ticklemouse i had a carrier with all 4 of mine, and it was great they settled so easy in it, and i could carry on washing up hoovering ect without it bothering them.
It is well worth investing in one.
Hope baby settles soon.

Afternoon all
I'm worn out and I havent even done anything. DD is currently eating a HM ready meal and watching Balamory. Michelle I agree with babycarrier idea, and dont listen to anybody who says your making a rod for your own back  . Also your little darling could be going through a growth spurt, DD had a phase like this every 6 weeks or so until she was about 6 months.
No further spotting today :j so I'm feeling really happy. May take it easy over the weekend though while DH here.
Have a good evening everybody I'm off to bed as soon as DD is in bed, only 2 and 1/4 hours to go.Sorting my life out one day at a time0
