request for info.
we dont generally freeze stuff, other than things already bought frozen so forgive my ignornace.
the beef joints, can they be frozen? once frozen how long will they last before needing to be used?
in general, meats that have a "suitable for home freezing" on them, how long is safe?
also: Tesco Finest Tomato Mozzarella And Basil Pizza 474G http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=267024252
it says on that page it can be frozen but i see nothing on the packaging that says it can be. again, is it safe and how long?
my freezer is a 4 star chest freezer.
thank you.
Yes, you can safely freeze beef, and in a 4 star freezer, it should keep for at least a year. The only danger is that your food will suffer from "freezer burn" if kept for long periods of time, but even then, it is quite safe to eat0 -
regarding the beef joints.
i got one last week and it was exactly as in the photo on the ss.
couldnt find the same today so chanced a "silverside joint with added basting fat"
the bar code starts 02365 and its the same £/kg. should this still work?
thank you.0 -
if you go to the first page there is a listing telling you exactly how it works hope this helps.0

Hi, guys. Newbie here (to the site and DTD)
I've followed this thread for a few days now and was just wondering about a few things.
First of all, sorry if these questions have been answered, the process seems a tad confusing and a few things have totally gone over my head!
Where can I buy a voucher?
Am I correct in thinking you can only buy £20 vouchers? If so, what if you only wanted to buy two items that came to, say, £1.20? Do you get a new voucher with the remainder of your money on?
If I bought a load of DTD items and a couple of non-DTD items, would I still be able to use my DTD voucher for the DTD items or would I pay cash for it all (ie. do I have to shop for DTD items seperately)?
Is DTD saving you a lot of money?
I'd appreciate all the help I can get. It seems like a great deal to take advantage of but I'm just not sure of the exact details, yet.
Thanks in advance for any help and please excuse my ignorance!
Hi there, welcome to the party!
Please read the first post on this thread and it should answer most of your questions. Feel free to ask anything you're still unsure of once you have read that.0 -

I used to check HotUKDeals for the best grocery prices, then shop to my budget. Let's just say there's only one store on that list that I've ventured into in the last five weeks...
Same here.
Did get to home bargains today during my lunch break. They are so cheap, so many items where I had to remind myself of what I could get "free", even though, as with the duck gel discs were under £1 in there, it's best to pay super inflated prices at Mr T's at the mo!

Yes, same as I've bought. As long as you have the right barcode (which you do). Bought my second joint today. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

I think you should take some time to read post one.
You don't buy a vouchers as such, You buy a selection of items which you know to be cheaper at Asda than at Tesco. You buy these independently of any other shopping. You then input your receipt details in to the tesco price check website.
Normally the next day this will generate a voucher equal to DOUBLE THE DIFFERENCE between the total price of your shop in Tesco and Asda. The maximum value of this voucher is £20 so there is no point in making a basket of good where the price difference is greater that £10. You can however start as small as you like.0 -
No results for your Tesco shopping
Hello,
Thank you for using Tesco Price Check.
Sorry, unfortunately we have been unable to find your receipt details, so we cannot show you price check results for your shopping. Please try re-entering your receipt details and we will try again to find them.
this was on the thursday 13th today i got that email above and eveytime i enter the info i get the same email. I rang cs and they said they cant do anything.
is there anything I can do???
Hi Kulvir,
When did you first receive this email? was it over the weekend? There were problems and delays with vouchers over the weekend and I personally think there are some bugs in their system especially with that email. I received the same email during early hours of Sunday regarding a shop i did on 2nd April, but didn't get an email regarding my shop from Friday night. You may think nothing's strange about that except i've already printed and spent the voucher generated from 2nd April shop on 4th April !!!!!!
N.B. To ensure there's no misunderstanding that 'results not found' email came out of the blue and wasn't as a result of re-entering details for vouchers already used.
Anyway I see you've re-entered your details but have you cleared your cookies and temporary Internet files first or between each attempt? Do that and try again, also try from another browser or Pc if possible. It still may not work but your PC may be showing you a stored message (from its cache) rather than re-checking your results.
My Friday night voucher only appeared yesterday morning when i completely cleared all cookies etc. from my browser and tried repeatedly entering the details and pressing the back button. I really hope it turns up for you and if not as another poster said take the items back.
One last and weird thing as further proof of gremlins in Mr T's system, one of my friends emailed me to ask if i knew what tesco price check is because she'd received a results email from the price checker. Again you might think nothing strange but she's on secondment in Dubai and it was to her work email address
Her address is quite obscure so unlikely somebody used it as an alternate to their own and the receipt had some horrid things like tripe & liver on it yuk, but her company are suppliers to Tesco!!! So that's how we think it's ended up with her!!
Apologies for long reply and hope this is of use to you and others0
