Went to Tesco Brixton today to cash in yesterday's £19.50 worth. Items totalled £19.46 which was close enough, but I what I couldn't believe is that they gave me a £6 off £40 till spit. Now I wonder whats gonna happen to that :-)
I've submitted a couple of items to the spreadsheet, unconfirmed for now, but everything checked out online earlier today:
Surcare Concentrated Sensitive Fabric Conditioner 1L - Mr T = £1.70, Mr A = £1.20, DTD = £1.00, Net Cost = £0.70
Kelloggs Nutri-Grain Bars X6 - Mr T = £1.99, Mr A = £1.00, DTD = £1.98, Net Cost = £0.01, Important - Don't Use Tesco BOGOF, Only good for Strawberry, Blueberry and Apple & Blackcurrant - *not* Apple
Sorry but the nutri grains never work, they just keep coming back N/A0 -

CADBURY TREASURE EGG mini Egg / Caramel £2.00 £1.00 £2.00 £0.00 buy 1
What would happen if I bought 20? lol
The 2 for £3 would kick in, meaning you're paying 50p per egg. I think that's the offer, as I've only ever bought one at a time.Kelloggs Nutri-Grain Bars X6 - Mr T = £1.99, Mr A = £1.00, DTD = £1.98, Net Cost = £0.01, Important - Don't Use Tesco BOGOF, Only good for Strawberry, Blueberry and Apple & Blackcurrant - *not* Apple
Does the Nutri-Grain work now then? I thought it was an N/A?10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -
Goodnight guys
Hoping to get some flumps tomorrow after accidently discovering their DTD potential tonight. Hubby says I should've kept it quiet until I get some but that is not the spirit of MSE I told him. I said.....can you imagine if the lamb person, or the beef person, or the pork person never came forward with their DTD lol I told him I am the flump person :rotfl:
I think he gets it now
If you do see any please leave some for me, cheers!
Plenty in my local... may as well buy the kids toothbrush though... virtually the same DTD.0 -

Thanks for submitting! The Surcare has been added already. The nutri-grain unfortunately comes back NA. People think it has to do with the hyphen, if it's listed as Nutri Grain in one place and Nutri-Grain in another, it stops it matching :mad:0 -
Well, that's family guy finished
so It's goodnight from me and goodnight from my rather toasty laptop............. lol

Quick one for the SS - I have bought the Vanish 1.5kg today from my local store, and was still charged at £12, so the price drop may be store specific ....
In the store I visited today it showed £12 on the shelf and I double checked that it was 1.5kg not the 1.41kg/£4 offer that I fell for yesterday - it went through at £6 . Ah well, notice it is £4 on Asda, so only wasted £2 (and haven't the heart/nerve to take it back).

Date confirms are very useful as it helps people know the item is still a potential good deal. Please submit any you have using the new form, thanks0 -
Hi everyone - I know that it's a different way of doing things but for everyone who finds the spreadsheet of benefit (and a great many do, lurkers and regulars) it would really help if as well as putting finds on the thread, to post them as new or confirmed items using the links on the 2nd post in the thread.
I am keen as mustard to get cracking on ripping through all your lovely updates but won't be able to trawl through all the list of todays confirmations from the thread alone. It will only take 10 seconds to put an update through the sexy new 'front end' and will be of massive benefit to everyone if you can. Even if you are a lurker and don't post on this thread, you can confirm or add new items via post 2 on the first page of the thread. Every little helps as they say!
And whilst munching on my pot noodle I had an idea that I've suggested to my mates that I've been assisting with deals (must get half a dozen calls every day now asking what to buy). We are all paying cash in the main and I've asked them to save their change (anything less than £1 coins) in a jar and when this all comes to an end, get the jar cashed in and donate that cash to a cause close to their hearts. I know many people are helping out local community ventures and shelters etc which is great, but for me, I want to be able to pledge to Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust, a cause really close to my heart so rather than a food offering, this is a good way for me to give them some cash - lord only knows I've saved plenty through DTD so it's only right that I give some back. Anyways, just a thought that struck me that seems to have been well received by friends
Cheers everyone - looking forward to seeing your confirmed and new items coming through for me to put my newly found editorial skills to use (or break the spreadsheet lol please make sure there's a backup scotsgirl / stebiz / elaniathon)0
