Ok its breaking the terms of use
    2. for use by recipient only..

I also suspect imho, that its a doctored voucher for a £8.74 voucher. Looking at the barcode it does not look like the 18.xx voucher i have in my hand...

    regards
Clearly they [Tesco] found it hard to make a promise they couldn't keep." Asda Spokesperson.

I say Tesco found it EASY to make promises it still cannot keep.

unless of course if it says clearly within their conditions We have the right to withdraw or amend the Tesco Price Check at any time without notice.

They can do what they like, pull it at any time. Plus, they don't even have to redeem your coupon in store, especially those buying 2 or 3 items specifically targeting DTD and who can blame them?

"Where we suspect that any false or fraudulent claim or one abusing the spirit of the Price Check scheme is being made, we reserve the right to refuse to issue or redeem a Price Check Voucher."

define "abusing the spirit"................means they can do what they like.

I don't believe this at all, many people despite the tv ads etc have no knowledge of the double the difference price promise - most staff haven't either lol.

I used two coupons today and two different staff hadn't seen them before.

The second one, asked what's this for then? I said shopping was cheaper at Asda. He said that I must be dedicated to Tesco if I was still shopping there, I replied - no, I just have a £20 voucher to use, and then I'm shopping at Asda in future. Haha little does he know ;)

The voucher says on it 'property of Tescos and not for resale' or am I being naive. So in my eyes the seller is being unlawful and the recycling is within the parameters set by Tesco?
eBay permits the listing of valid vouchers on its site, with some limitations. Please see ’Additional Information’ to learn more about what limits are placed on the sale of vouchers. eBay is committed to working with the voucher industry to help ensure that eBay is not a venue for fraudulent voucher-related transactions and to providing its users with a safe place to trade.

It wont get pulled. I've reported tons of items on eBay & barring ones that have copied my listings, hardly any have ever been cancelled by eBay. This will have ended before they even look at it I bet!

Sadly, I agree - ebay are rubbish at pulliing listing. I have reported so many counterfit designer handbags only to watch them being sold for hundereds of pounds :(

On the other hand, ebay have been very vigilant in removing my listing for well worn shoes

And mine for my daughter's swimming costume.
  • I disagree, tesco aren't being generous - this promotion is just a way for them to convince the general public that they are the cheapest place to shop when actually they are not, which has happened to work to our advantage :)

None of the big 4 are the cheapest place to shop..not for everything. It depends what you want to buy, which promotions each store is running at one given time & which products they are selling for RRP.
