What £2 coupon? Granted I haven't tried all 8 packs we have but the pack of normal flavoured ones didn't have a voucher.

"normal flavoured":rotfl:love it...I think we got the Lemon ones....nicer flavour:beer:

Oooh I see, dd is two, we haven't potty trained her yet but she will soon be at that point so I would like to put some pull ups aside so we are ready when she is. She is in size 5 at the moment. Taking this into account we have bought the large size 12-18kg which I imagine will be perfect when she's ready, but will pick up a few of the smaller size just in case it's earlier. Probably a bit early for the dry nites for us then ;)

Must keep my eyes peeled for pampers/huggies size 5 offers (any suggestions greatfully welcomed :p)

Hope the potty training goes well, often lots of false starts are common and she will get into the swing of things before you know it :)

ahh right, was assuming your DD was older :o

I bought easy ups today in tesco, a box for £11.99, a box in asda is £9 but there is a slight difference in the quantity of the nappies, however there is that 10% difference thing. Will see if they compare them tomorrow :)

The manager was called and he appeared with a file and looked at my receipt went through his file and found one where the same credit card was used and said I was ok since I had only used 3 vouchers and was under the £100 so he "would let it go". I asked if he was allowed to keep copies of receipts with card details on and he said yes to match to the vouchers to check if people are abusing it!!
I am extremely doubtful if this is policy allowed by HO - more likely he's taken it on himself to do it. As others have pointed out he can't prove anything from it, nor would he be allowed to officially. I wouldn't worry unnecessarily about this but if you are, just use a different card each time (most people have loads!) or a different store.

IF the charity idea goes ahead it will not be on MSE directly. Nobody is talking about anything compulsory or enforced - various people have asked over the past few days about doing something to say thanks to the editors and it was thought that donating to charities that are special to us for whatever reason might be nice.
I quite agree. You could use the Virgin giving site to save on charities' fees and I don't see it being anything of a problem either to Tesco or to MSE.

    no, open 24hrs

Depends which store it is. Google Tesco Store Locator and check for your nearest one. My nearest store's open 8am to 8pm today. :)

My Tesco have figured out a way around people getting dtd on roast beef - they're now only selling joints costing £7. Still £8.48 per kg, but every one is weighed out, and labelled (as is the shelf) at £7. Therefore under 1kg, and no dtd.
You should have come shopping with me, it was the first time I've seen 5 (£9+) in my regular store and only once before has there been one (which I hastily bought). I picked up two and mum was pleased when I gave her one of them :j.

Why can't Tesco make our lives easier by having a dedicated DTD isle, including a frozen and chilled section? :D

what if we got loads of dot stickers and put them on all the items that are cheaper at asda.. it could be country wide :)

    Hi

Just a heads up for you all.
Just been to Tescos and purchased the Old El Paso salsa at £1.49, bought two as they are 2 for £2 in Asda.

I've checked my receipt and it shows a multibuy saving "mexican cheapest free" -£1.49 so looks as though they are now BOGOF, there was nothing on the shelf or online as i checked the prices before I left

    HTH

I also bought 2 x Old El Paso Mild Thick Salsa but it went through at 2 x 1.49 = £2.98. No discount was mentioned on my receipt and nothing mentioned on SEL of any promotion.

Could be a price change coming through (I shopped this morning).
