Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 5

I agree. I don't believe they should use debit/credit card information as proof of one household/person using the vouchers. I quite often pay by debit card for my dd who gives me the cash later, and also buy for my niece. (she is real lol). I would be very upset if someone was using that data to track what I was doing. As others have said, the card details are for payment not for matching against shopping/vouchers.
Google "PCI DSS" and see the rules for that MasterCard and Visa and the others lay down for retailers. Mr T absolutely canNOT record or have card details available to shop floor workers. What might be happening is that they are using the last four digits of the card number on a copy receipt, I don't know whether that would be considered a breach of the PCI DSS rules, but would give Mr T. a good enough matching capability ?0 -

What £2 coupon? Granted I haven't tried all 8 packs we have but the pack of normal flavoured ones didn't have a voucher.0 -

Hi
Just a heads up for you all.
Just been to Tescos and purchased the Old El Paso salsa at £1.49, bought two as they are 2 for £2 in Asda.
I've checked my receipt and it shows a multibuy saving "mexican cheapest free" -£1.49 so looks as though they are now BOGOF, there was nothing on the shelf or online as i checked the prices before I left

If anyone still has any of the five pound finish vouchers, it's probably the time to use them. I've got some that I've been printing off in the library, combined with the £2 voucher from the boxes of tablets, means you can get them for free with a bit left over towards your other shopping and have about £3 DTDSealed Pot Challenge - member 1109:j0

My DD is nearly 3 and still not potty trained, she wears size 4 pampers easy ups, I was thinking of buying some drynites to put away for when shes older as I can see her being in them for a while with her still not being trained at all. But the drynites dont start until age 4-7years, and im wondering how long easy ups will fit her for, still 2 more sizes to go through..
Oooh I see, dd is two, we haven't potty trained her yet but she will soon be at that point so I would like to put some pull ups aside so we are ready when she is. She is in size 5 at the moment. Taking this into account we have bought the large size 12-18kg which I imagine will be perfect when she's ready, but will pick up a few of the smaller size just in case it's earlier. Probably a bit early for the dry nites for us then
Must keep my eyes peeled for pampers/huggies size 5 offers (any suggestions greatfully welcomed)
Hope the potty training goes well, often lots of false starts are common and she will get into the swing of things before you know itComping wishlist for 2017

Has there been a change in the rules saying that the store has to keep my receipt along with the voucher?
Just had a run in with my local store - they insisted their new training said they HAD to keep my receipt - couldn't give me a copy as they didn't have a photocopy machine. They said I could go back to the original store and ask them to print me another but I don't often go to that store, and since I've just been (hence the voucher) I don't expect to go again for a few weeks.
As it was almost closing time on a bank holiday I thought there was no point asking them to ring head office to check - but I am not happy - I think I have a right to keep my receipt. What if I need to return anything, or if the bank make an error with the amount they debit from my account, surely I should have the receipt as evidence?
I know others have had this problem in the past, and the general reply has been that it's just shops making up their own rules - just wondered if there really has been a change now? Is this worth complaining about, do you think?0
