I have just got back after doing 2 dtd shops at one tescos then going to the other one nearby and just going in to buy a normal shop , no dtd , just really to have a good look around and whilst looking there were 2 quite official looking guys , both in white shirts , with tesco badges, with clipboards , looking rather flustered. One dropped his clipboard right by me and he gave a little swear word , I looked at him, he apologised, so I thought my chance to say something as I couldnt make out what they were doing , so I said , "Gosh you look hot and flustered, are you ok " , trying to sound genuine, and he replied "Yes but p******d off as I have a lot of work changing prices to do ", I said "Oh dear that is what happens when easter eggs go half price " acting innocently , and he replied "No, it is a lot of normal stock items being changed" , I just smiled and said "Oh gosh sorry " and wandered off. So I dont know if that means they are going to be changing more and more prices. Any thoughts on this ?0

My OH foolishly paid card as well - cost under a fiver after voucher! Mind you, the card details should not be retained by a store so any match up using those can get tescos into big trouble. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

Sent my OH shopping for the first time today instead of me, did great, apart from paying by card instead of cash!!!!.. i do cash and no clubcard everytime, now would it be best to class this one as 'killed' and don't input the receipt details or are receipts not linked together if you know what i mean?
Basically is it safe to carry on even though paid by card on one receipt, or should i start again by paying cash on my next shop?
TIA xx
I would keep going with it, if the till has more than one DTD voucher in it for the same amount when they cash up they'll not be able to trace it back unless they employ Sherlock Holmes.0 -

I am a few pages behind so perhaps there has been further discussion. I am not in favour of paying or giving to charity. I'm not sure Martin would be in favour either. Either I've missed it or DTD has not been on the newsletters and I don't think he has talked about it on tv either. We can all do our own bit without involving mse. My tesco has donations for soldiers and I have put into that a few times. I have also given things to both sets of our parents. I'm thinking about a donation to a local homeless charity. Finally I have donated money to a small charity I support in India- from my shopping savings.
Of course I certainly appreciate all the efforts of everyone here and particularly the editors. I just think that if folks still want to go ahead and donate on mse that official permission needs to be got( and of course, I may be wrong and Martin will be delighted).weight loss target 23lbs/49lb0 -
I've paid by card on all of my shops for me and my mum. They can't possibly track you by card - they'd be breaking all sorts of rules and regulations. With a clubcard I can see they might, as you sign up to their terms and conditions.0
