Call or email customer services. This isn't in the T&Cs and the store should get their a** whipped for it.
Yeah this is definately not a rule made by HO.. They cant do that, that would mean genuine people who used a 50p voucher would be refused their second voucher, not right at all0 -

You know when you encounter something like this and somehow you've managed to remember the entire conversation so you can torture yourself by playing it back, over and over again in your head? This is one of those things. I've come up with loads of alternative lines I could have used but they're all useless as I'm now sat at home!
What on earth does 'buy shopping' mean?! Why did I say that? You can't buy 'shopping', can you?
'what's a spreadsheet?' - that's the killer line for me!
says the person who's been buying blu-ray dvds.
classic!

Today I did two separate transactions with two vouchers along with a third transaction in cash for reduced goods. The latter went through first, was packed and safely in my trolley. Cue second transaction being scanned and me notifying the SA that I have vouchers for both of the remaining shops.
She calls for a supervisor who trots over to the till.
He checks the numbers and signs off the receipt, before beginning a lengthy conversation with the SA along the lines of, 'He's in every day, buying things that are cheaper at ASDA. Look at this (pointing at the receipt), he bought fake tan for £11.49 and got a £10.98 voucher back on that alone'. All of this was said quietly, I don't think he realised I could hear him.
A little bit of poo came out.
Once he'd disappeared after looking at the items on receipt number two, the SA began grilling me: 'So, do you look for things that are cheaper at ASDA, buy them here then get a voucher?; How do you do this - compare the two websites? I bet you've got loads from this haven't you? You certainly look like you know what you're doing'.
I denied everything in my usual eloquent fashion, 'Erm, erm, erm, no I just buy shopping. That's what I do here, buy shopping...'
With beads of sweat forming on my forehead, the SA surprised me by offering tips on how to better my returns:
'Have you tried going online? MoneySavingExpert is good - they have a spreadsheet and everything'.
'Never heard of it. What's a spreadsheet?'
'Just have a look when you get home - Google it'.
I have a feeling the supervisor may have asked the SA to try and get me to hang myself by admitting I seek out expensive goods in order to get a voucher in return, thus proving I was going against the 'spirit of the promotion' - be careful out there!
Glad to see you took their advice and googled for us, you'll be made very welcome:rotfl:;).0 -

SS people - perhaps when you've chosen a charity you could post info and maybe a suggested donation - I know people can donate as little or as much as they like but I sometimes think having a suggested donation, say £2 for example, encourages people to donate. Also, if there's room on the SS maybe info about donations could go on there too as alot more people probably look at the SS then at the forum
Keep up the good work
My vouchers (from saturdays shop) are in, just planning my shops and pleased to see the good deal on right guard apds - I'm trying to build up a £10 and £14 voucher whilst still buying things I want/need and I'm now very well stocked on toothpaste and shower gels but haven't yet brought much apds for oh so will start stocking up on them now
The things I'm currently targeting are - right guards apds, wilkinsons shaving gel and olay face wipes. Very little room in the freezer and still not alot of good food deals for stuff I eat (apart from pizzas & cornettos) - please Mr T can we have some healthy stuff? All these pizzas aren't good for me!
I have just done one whole shop on dtd vouchers for the rspca box. I felt happier then and killed off one of my vouchers.0 -
only just got in so not checked here or ss but want to warn people that the following were price-matched today:
Bisto Gravy Granules 170g now 50p at Tesco
Paxo Sage & Onion Stuffing Mix 170g now 50p at Tesco
Pot Noodles were still £1 each and there were no shelf labels to indicate any special offers for buying 2 or 3 (sorry can't remember what the 'new' deal on these was supposed to be)
Will update/edit later, need to collapse!

Sent my OH shopping for the first time today instead of me, did great, apart from paying by card instead of cash!!!!.. i do cash and no clubcard everytime, now would it be best to class this one as 'killed' and don't input the receipt details or are receipts not linked together if you know what i mean?
Basically is it safe to carry on even though paid by card on one receipt, or should i start again by paying cash on my next shop?
TIA xx0 -
