I have two freezers, please tell me it's not just me who's running out of freezer space at the mo!!!! Tonight I actually threw out quite a few packs of whoopsied crumpets to make space for sausages!!

I have a very large chest freezer in the garage and it is full to the brim....I bought 3x chips today and I struggled fitting these in.

    I need a new freezer!

I really don't see this plan working for DTD instore. Surely after the first 10 went through SC you'd be aware of the total therefore you'd be put off buying the other 2 sets hence you're alarmed looking face not looking all that alarmed after all.

Not knocking you for trying but I can't see that I'll be buying only flumps as I'm not sure I'd have the nerve.

Oh, I'll stick other stuff in there, too. Bread, milk, eggs - the staple stuff I've been buying with dishwasher tabs or Betty Crockers. If I can get each bill to about £17, that'll be fine for claiming DTD at CS. Plus, my local CS staff are lovely!

Yes, I'd like to do this too but wasn't sure how to go about it either. There are quite a few homeless people where I live and I'd like to be able to give some things to them but don't feel comfortable just going up to them homeless people and giving them food iyswim!

I will do some googling now and see what I can find :)

Have done this before. very early one morning I was privelidged to be invited to something that was 'way above my paygrade'.

I needed some cash, from the cashpoint I went. seeing a couple of blokes looking clearly 'Down on their luck'.

TBH I didnt want to give them cash, So walked to the local shop and bought a selection of food/breakfast for them. just handed them the bag and said enjoy some breakfast.

I was inspired by a friend who after we had all been out for a nice meal, again saw a person sleeping rough in the back door of a hotel, pulled out his wallet and went inside bringing the man with him. he paid the hotel for the man to have a room for the night a hot meal and a drink.

Thanks Keith, made me realise 'for the grace of god thats me'

    Regards.

I say Tesco found it EASY to make promises it still cannot keep.

I'd like to know this too, gave my first one today. Early indications show they have taken the full amount from my card.

How long do refunds usually take?

First one was within a couple of days, but I have been waiting since the 6th for the last one to be credited, I emailed cs and they said 2 to 5 working days!! still waiting

I had a recalled receipt a week or so back and it took 3 or 4 days for the email to come through and then when it did it said the receipt cant be found, I tried resubmitting it and I got the 'is being processed' message so accepted it was lost for good, an expected £20 worth of DTD.

I had 2 recalled receipts yesterday (stores new policy using these vouchers now have to pay at CS) one after the other as one was for my brother and one mine, one came back today and brothers hasn't, also a cash shop not done at CS has not come back, however I did receive my missing one from last Wed in an email, first time I have ever had one that way, normally I just re enter details to get the vouchers but this one wouldn't move past the "already processing" stage even once I had the email still couldn't get it to come up tried numerous times...........who knows what goes on in Mr T's no logic to any of it!

With the flumps, can you imagine if you entered the details and for some reason you didn't get the DTD voucher through. If it was one of the few lost in Tesco system, or name back NA.

You would have lost £10 on some low fat sweeties!!
