  • i'm new to this and just wanted some help please.

if i buy several items that are cheaper at asda but also buy something that's cheaper at tesco does it void my dtd ?

do all the items on the receipt have to be cheaper at tesco to get a voucher ?

    Please read post number 1

However. the item/s that are cheaper in tesco will reduce the DTD amount

No, not of all them have to be cheaper, but to get a nice high DTD voucher you want them to be at least the same price in both shops for non targeted DTD items :)

I *think* that if you have items that are cheaper at tesco then it'll be subtracted from the amount that is cheaper at Asda? But if that's not right then someone please correct me lol

TBF to tesco i had a voucher for £109 and spent it on a normal shop as just wanted smaller ones from thereon in and the £130 i ended up spending came back as £6 cheaper than at tesco and that was with me just chucking things in.

A question any question is not thick. not everybody is here to shoot people down.

The main till can put your receipt on hold, pending further information, or passed to CS Customer services. CS then recall the shop.

This is sometimes used for people that do the shopping and have forgetten a means to pay.

That's my current plan, yes. Buy, say, 30 of 'em in three separate shops at self-service; do my regular DTD shop; check my receipts on way out; look flabbergasted at the cost of the Flumps; go straight to CS with a stern look on my face; demand DTD or I'll shout myself hoarse/go to the local paper/phone Watchdog/kill someone, etc.

I really don't see this plan working for DTD instore. Surely after the first 10 went through SC you'd be aware of the total therefore you'd be put off buying the other 2 sets hence you're alarmed looking face not looking all that alarmed after all.

Not knocking you for trying but I can't see that I'll be buying only flumps as I'm not sure I'd have the nerve.

I was thinking of doing the same but for a homeless organisation (ie Human!). I know they exist and accept food donations but how would we go about finding one? I live in London and I'm sure there's lots of people that could benifit. Hope they like lamb :rotfl:

Yes, I'd like to do this too but wasn't sure how to go about it either. There are quite a few homeless people where I live and I'd like to be able to give some things to them but don't feel comfortable just going up to them homeless people and giving them food iyswim!

I will do some googling now and see what I can find :)
