Tesco Finest Raw King Prawns 250g are selling for £2.49 in my local but listed at £4.99 on the spreadsheet!!

Got them for £4.99 at Prestwich today - has to be the Raw ones, there were some cooked (frozen) ones next to them that were £2.99 for 255g IIRC

    Loving this promo!:j

I've done my shopping today, and the hilarious thing is that I have a till spit offering me £4 off a £30 shop. A week ago I would have thought that was brilliant, and now I'm thinking "meh" - if it's not £20 off a £20 shop, then I'm not interested :rotfl:

Of course, the whole thing is backfiring on Tesco twice over really. Not only are we relieving them of their goods for nothing (or next to nothing), it is also highlighting just how much more expensive Tesco are than Asda. For many years I have been a loyal Tesco customer, but, to be honest, when this promo is over, I think I might have to reconsider - and I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking along those lines

Well they are more expensive......but only on the targeted items on the spreadsheet. Tesco have some cracking deals on atm....and I think I would be shopping in there even if it wasn't for this DTD and I dislike Tesco a lot! But I can honestly say since this started I love them :rotfl:

I would love to find some veggie deals and fruit.

I accidently found the sirloin steak over the weekend too and the sausage rolls, but for some reason I can't work the sausage rolls out.

Charged £2 for them. Compared to Asda £1.31 but I can't find any on Tesco site for £2 and I forgot to look today when I went in.

    Charged wrong price maybe?

For everyone looking for some fruit I may have found a new dtd for coxes apples. I have bought them today so will confirm tomorrow:T
    Fingers crossed!!!

I was thinking along these lines at one point, but then picked up on the fact that the vast majority of stuff getting picked up on is when it's on offer at asda and not on offer at tesco, or vice versa (when you only "buy one" on the BOGOF type offers).

Given that there are thousands of items in both stores and the spread sheet list only holds about 600 odd items, I am thinking they are pretty much about the same.

The one thing I will be doing when this is all over is using mysupermarket.com so I can take advantage of the cheapest prices as this promo sure does show they can add up!! :)

  • i'm new to this and just wanted some help please.

if i buy several items that are cheaper at asda but also buy something that's cheaper at tesco does it void my dtd ?

do all the items on the receipt have to be cheaper at tesco to get a voucher ?
