you need to go onto settings, down to custom search url, enter the address i posted, then save. then use the scanner as normal and when scanned it comes up with the information as normal, then instead of clicking on product search or whatever click on custom search and it takes you directly to the exact product on the asda site.
I've tried this and it is taking me to asda's site but saying page can not be found.
Ignore me, I had a spelling mistake hehe.
I can't scroll the page that opens though. Any idea why that is?0 -

My OH has just figured out how to use the barcode finder to bring up asda's price. You need to download the barcode app, go onto custom search, type in http:// groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/search/searchcontainer.jsp?trailSize=1&searchString=%s (with no space after http:/) save that as your custom search, scan your item and press custom search and HEY PRESTO :j tried it on a few items and up it pops on the asda site on your pho
we used the app by ZXing team
Can anyone help please, I already got the app I've followed the instructions, this is just fab when I can get it working, it's bringing the Asda site up but saving sorry we can't find anything for your search null, anybody any ideas I've checked I've spelt the link right??
Sorry taken me ages to type this while at work and just seen all the other comments about it x:dance:  :dance:0 -
Been to Tescos today, I had a receipt that had a deduction (£20) for my previous voucher on it. I was told I could not use my new £20 voucher in my new shop as it would be going round in circles and Tesco would be paying for my new shop. I said if this was the case then it should be in the terms and conditions she said it was in their instructions she was sorry but on this occasion I could not use the voucher. I asked to see their instructions and she looked through her file telling me she had read them and passed the message to all the other staff, she obviously could not find them and went away to phone head office. She returned after nearly half an hour (with me waiting at customer services desk) and said the person she had spoken to had agreed with her, and furthermore the person she had spoken to had pointed out that is was not possible for me to have two £20 vouchers as the limit is £20 per calendar month. I said this is not correct it is £100. She insisted she was right. In the end after they had changed my defrosting frozen items she took my voucher and gave me a £20 note to pay for my shopping as a gesture of goodwill!!!. What do I do now, I have another voucher (no previous voucher used on this one) but if they really believe it is £20 per month they will be looking out for me. The only other store is a 40 mile round trip. I feel like writing a complaint but I do not want the attention it may bring.0
