No as I'm a Pampers snob but the Asda baby event starts next week so that could make DTD on baby items interesting.
As for doing more than one shop, I admitted earlier that I had 6 transactions through the same till today. Quite often I stick to the spirit of the offer or at least the T&Cs while everyone else around me abuses the offers. Most of what I bought today I would have been buying anyway albeit I targetted the DTD items. Should I have only gotten a couple of DTD items and made sure the rest were cheaper in Tesco or do I split the trolley into multiple transactions so I could get more than one £20 voucher?
I'm not sure that I would have the balls to have used the DTD vouchers on these transactions as well as getting more DTD vouchers at the same time but each to their own. Tesco will withdraw this offer fairly quickly in my opinion as so many people are taking advantage. Should I or others limit ourselves to a couple of DTD items a day or do we make the most of it while it's working? I'm not saying I'm right in what I did but having just had another baby and being on SMP, I will take whatever I can get to help make ends meet.
Thank you again to those who have been working on the spreadsheet. I have managed to grab some fantastic bargains and I will probably be back once I have confirmed the items are still DTD so I can stockpile. As Mr T says ....... Every Little Helps and if they are going to try and outsmart Asda and lose then who am I to not take advantage?0 -
anyone who uses the spreadsheet or the thread to target specific products(which if people are honest thats probally everyone on here) is abusing the t+c so whether one person does 1 shop from it or 7 they are still not in the spirit of things so to try and blame one person is pathetic..
If people only submitted receipts from normal, standard, weekly shops, the chances of them receiving above £5 back, would be very slim indeed.
However, if T's were concerned with this, they would have stopped the promo many weeks ago.
Each week, there will be an increase, as more and more people decide to try specifically for DTD.
As we regularly see, so many can't grasp the idea, and dont continue, but some will.
I top up my voucher with them, and as its on items that are so overpriced anyway, they are not losing much.
eg, if Asda can afford to sell the Hardy's at £4, and make a profit, then Tesco's are making the same profit, plus an extra £2.99
It will continue for as long as it continues, and until that point, I hope many will benefit. The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -

They usually then ask how i do it, so i just say i compare the 2 websites. I told a couple about the pro glide razors and they were well impressed
Interesting! Perhaps I should start hanging around the tills until I spot you!
As I'm male, I'm not sure they'd be so accommodating for me! I've got to the stage where I tell the SA before they've even scanned the first item so they can put their red light on well in advance. I always tend to go to potential 'trouts' too, but they've all been lovely.

Errr yes..
you are targeting items you know to be cheaper.. that is NOT what the scheme was for and you can be refused for doing it..

Not sure why you get on your high horse about this, so regularly?

I bought a couple of the Dolmio bolognese yesterday, but realised when I got home that I had picked up original, today I went to a different store and was looking for Dolmio light, as per ss, but all I could find was 'low fat' is that the right one?
Low fat is correct, as long as the size is also right. Offhand, think it was 750g? SEL is £1.99. Very few of those in the Dolmio rangeThe mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0
