Hi I also visited the store last night and was really embarrassed as the sales assistant shouted across to the supervisor "we've got another one of these vouchers". She came marching across and told me I could not use a voucher to purchase more goods. as my receipt showed I had used a voucher on my previous shop. When I asked her where it stated this in terms and conditions she pointed out on my voucher "this voucher has no cash value". She said if I paid wuth cash or card I could then input receipt and then they would accept new voucher. Also said she had to tell loads of people same thing that day. This was done in front of a queue of people at checkout. I felt like I'd committed a crime, backed down and paid for my shopping. This was only the second voucher I'd used and was nervous to start with, definately won't be doing it again.
However good luck to you all and many thanks to all who compile and update spreadsheet.

    Hi misssport dancegirl2.gif

Do you have another store near to you, that you could use?

I carry a copy of the DTD T&C in my handbag now, just incase... I would be quite happy to waft it at any 'difficult' member of staff and ask them to qualify their statement.

    22. To use your vouchers in store, vouchers must be presented together with your original receipt and can be redeemed off the cost of your next shop at the checkouts.

    Chin up :)

I saw a receipt sat in the bottom of the trolley so I picked it up and chucked it in the bag before racing to pick up hubby, already late of course due to the queues, looked at the receipt. Someone had bought two apples and three bananas for a total of around 75p. Not going to even try it lol

A massive thank you to everyone who has replied to me. I did feel quite upset last night but after reading your coments on here this morning you've lifted my spirits. I did put the receipt in last night (couldn't resist) from my cash shop without voucher, so if DTD voucher comes in I will send hubby! I may even pluck up courage to email or ring head office as you have suggested.:A

    Nooooooo!!!

There goes my daily fix, love Frijj milkshake!

I love(d) Frijj shakes too - till I curiously read the calorie count and was horrified! One is roughly the same as two pints of beer

Poole - Fleetsbridge - OH got dragged to cust services 2 days ago. However this was purely because nobody knew what to do with the voucher. Not even the Cust services ladies. OH had to train them. They were actually quite nice. Seems like most of the SA's don't know here and the supervisors are hassled because of this. This could be the reason for other people's reported problems. A huge store so usually good choice & stock levels. Always seems a bit frantic & busy in there though.

I've used one in Fleetsbridge and althought the Checkout Assistant didn't know what to do the Supervisor sorted him straight out and the voucher got put through no problems.

Yet to have a horror story - maybe the Supervisors don't like making up rules round Bournemouth and Poole (and Eastleigh where I've also shopped) like the do elsewhere!
