I've kept a record of the receipt numbers checked, voucher value generated and ticked it off when used so I know that I have spent them.
Obviously Tesco's computer system is not great. Maybe they should invest a bit of their enormous profits on it!
yea got 1 yesterday for the 14th.. which i have allready spentah well nice to know there system is working perfect

T&C ' s state:
22. To use your vouchers in store, vouchers must be presented together with your original receipt and can be redeemed off the cost of your next shop at the checkouts. You must retain your original receipt as vouchers are not valid without the original receipt. Photocopied receipts will not be accepted.
So your reply to the 'trout' is that i am adhering to the T&C's by redeeming my voucher against my next shop.
regards
Thanks for posting this up again , I trolled through looking for it , and now you have saved me tons of time , thankssssssssss , happy dtd shopping today !! :rotfl:0 -
My local insists on writing on new receipts this is solely to stop you getting a cash refund. I have never had a problem getting dtd on a scrawled receipt. Nothing in terms and conditions to stop you doing this.
Hope this puts your mind at rest!
Great that you're not having any problems with it, but I know some people have been, which is a shame as obviously the stores aren't sticking to procedures.
I emailed customer services about this and had a lovely reply stating that the store would be incorrect to sign the new receipt. They confirmed that it should only be the old receipt so as to invalidate any future attempts to redeem its voucher.
HTHs someone."However, Tesco clearly underestimated the Great British Shopper's eye for a good deal."

Sorry if this has been asked millions of times but have looked at quite a few pages and am still not sure. Is this the right page for the updated spreadsheet -

(sorry cant do links)
And also can someone just explain the various colour coding for each item. Would really appreciate help - sorry to be a pain!something missing0 -
I'm new to this DTD thing so apologies if what I'm about to ask is a bit dim. I'm looking at the spreadsheet and can see lots of stuff where I could make a profit e.g. Tesco Strawberries (Mr T £3, Asda £1, DTD £4). Is there anything that would stop me buying just strawberries or any other offer where I'd make a profit then claim the DTD. If it's against the rules or simply not the done thing I'd like to know. I'm not planning on only buying these kinds of items but there are a few profit making items I'd like to stock up on but need to know if I have to buy non-profit items as well.
Also, I have a £10 off £40 Sainsburys voucher. Do Tesco accept these (a quick search suggests yes) and should I use the voucher on a DTD receipt?
Many thanks for humouring me on this.0
